. The 6’9 big man just keeps on getting better, and looks ready to be a go-to player for Washburn this winter. He can catch on the block and go to work with his back to the basket, but also has the touch to face up and hit short/mid-range jumpers over the top of smaller forwards. Active rebounder who keeps the ball high and has a quick second leap for put-back buckets. Also provided a shot blocking threat on the defensive end as he does a nice job of walling up to absorb contact and block/alter shots without fouling.

Brayden helped his Minnesota Fury team pull away in the second half against MN Rise on Saturday. Going up against a pair of college level post prospects, Brayden went to work with a number of quick post moves. He showed a high releasing hook shot that was tough to contest, and he was connecting on it at a high rate with his left hand. Brayden has excellent touch around the basket, making him tough to stop with just one defender down low. Someone who’s just continued to get better over the past year, and now looks primed for a strong senior season.

WHY?
His length is game-changing. Gorton was everywhere on defense! He is always in the correct sport on the floor, at 6’8″, he is an excellent rim protector. Brayden is also a productive shooter from deep. He is a stat stuffer.
