Noah makes a rise after having a monster year that was vastly under rated what he was able to accomplish as only a junior. He had monster numbers and led a solid yet young team to a 20-4 record. They now feel they have some unfinished business this upcoming season, and the scary part about it is that Noah might've taken a step over the summer. He's a 6'9 paint beast that finishes over the top, grabs rebounds, and goes right up for dunks, and is an incredible athlete with length. He moves his feet, has nice touch around the rim and is a finisher. He also rebounds in bunches, is not easily moved down low, and is a player that I expect to garner plenty of attention this year. He makes the jump and comes in as our top big in the Top-10.

Boyd is a player who is full of potential, and now it is about putting it together. I feel that he began that push with a solid summer in which he was a force down low for Hoops Therapy, and he had some solid outings. He is a strong rebounder who runs the floor well, has a great motor, and is a paint protector. He was guarding players bigger than them, using his athleticism to go up and get boards out of his position, and is a big that you do not have to run plays for. He's a player who I feel has a long way to go but did the right things in wanting to be better this summer by playing as much as he could and getting out to a few of our events. He makes the jump in our rankings with room to grow.

Carr continues to rise as he had a solid summer for Hoops Therapy and also got out to the showcase and proved that he belonged. He's a two-way standout who uses his physicality and abuses smaller defenders. He isn't afraid to use his strength inside, has nice footwork, and a good feel around the basket. We also saw an improved mid-range game as he's being able to score from the post. He also dunks in traffic, rebounds and alters shots at the rim, and showed that he's willing to compete with whoever he's up against. I am excited to see the Fountain-Fort Carson squad this season. I think they turn heads, and Carr is a big reason as to why.

Merilatt, who's currently suiting up on the football field, remains the team's enforcer and emotional leader on the court. He plays with toughness, confidence and has developed into a reliable shooter who can space the floor. His strength inside, improved touch, and willingness to lead by example make him a vital piece for Broomfield, and that is a team looking to surprise a few teams and make a push this year. When he locks in, Merilatt sets the tone for everyone around him and I expect that to be on display. He makes a jump in the rankings this time around.

Carpender is undoubtedly the class's biggest “what if.” If he pans out and reaches his full potential, then the sky is the limit for him. Right now, he looks better than he's ever looked, and he makes a jump because of that in the rankings. He catapults into a spot this year where he gets more minutes and there's more opportunity to prove himself. Over the summer, he showed good hand-eye coordination, grabbed boards, and went up for dunks and hooks, and was a bit more physical than we've seen from him. He's starting to progress into a 6'11 big man that protects the paint, makes it hard for players to get anything around him, and is a potential two-way star. It's coming together for him, and we're seeing it. He makes the jump in the rankings and could easily make an even bigger one once the season gets here. He's a player I feel everyone will be ALL-IN on very soon. Keep it up big fella!

Susi, a skilled 6'5 forward who is working his way back from injury and looks close to returning to form. From what we saw from him this summer, that should be easy as he plays the right way, knows where to be on the floor, and battles on both ends. He overpowers smaller defenders, has good footwork with the bigger players, and also adds versatility. We've seen him blend in seamlessly with Horizon's talented frontcourt, bringing size, touch, and playmaking. He shoots it well, rebounds hard, and sparks offense with his passing. Susi competes with toughness, and this season is his chance to reintroduce himself as a key piece. He makes a 30-spot jump in the rankings.
