I have a great attitude and I know it’s not just about me but the team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my local church I would help out on the media team. I plan on volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house. That is where families stay when their child is in the hospital.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, my older brother has a rare congenital heart condition and he is constantly in the hospital. My middle older brother joined the Air Force and was deployed. My Grandfather has stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized. We are a very close family all these situations have been challenging but I have found ways to deal with the stress. Like helping others, weights and basketball.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that has a engineer program.

Boyd is coming off a strong summer and enters his junior year poised to be a highly effective piece for Fountain Fort Carson. He’s a capable ball handler with the vision to create for teammates, while also being aggressive getting inside and finishing through contact. On the other end, he plays in your face defense that disrupts opposing guards. That blend of toughness, playmaking and scoring gives Boyd a real opportunity to raise his stock this season
