was a man amongst boys this weekend and looked like one of the best bigs in the tourney on the weekend. He was aggressive on the boards, grabbing boards and going straight up, and was a force in the middle. HoopTherapy went 3-1 on the weekend in Pool A and had one of their better outings at our event,s and he was a big reason as to why. When he makes up his mind to deliver pain by going through and over defenders, it makes HoopTherapy that much better. We saw him have 15+ points against Tru Colorado, battle with one of the better bigs against Hardwood, a buzzer beater that won them the game and competed against Mountain Stars. He finished in transition, attacked from the high post, spun off of defenders, and went right up. Big weekend for him, and he’s been on a mission this summer to prove himself. Well, we’ve noticed.

There were high expectations for Dorian heading into the season, as he had a solid summer for HoopTherapy leading into it, where we thought there would be a jump. But what he showed exceeded expectations as he leveled up in every way. He went from a fringe varsity prospect as a sophomore to a focal point and one of the top prospects in the conference his junior season. Carr put up 13 points and 9.6 rebounds a game. Carr finished with 10 double-doubles, was a glass cleaner who kept plays alive for teammates, and gave second-chance opportunities. He also improved offensively as a rim-rocking big man who shows excellent footwork, finishes well in traffic, and doesn’t shy away from contact. He was a 2nd Team All-Conference prospect and proved he belonged. He made a big jump in the rankings as a result, and I’m sure we’ll see plenty of him this summer.

went on an absolute terror in January, showing off his shot-creating poise and relentlessness attacking the rim. Carr winds up at the foul stripe frequently due to absorbing contact and forcing opposing defenders to foul. Quick off the triple threat, there aren’t many guys who can keep up with the level of intensity Carr brings to the game. The 6’5 junior has shown up in numerous ways, and it’ll be exciting to see him continue to improve.

Carr has quickly established himself as a force for Fountain Fort Carson, nearly averaging a double double with 9.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He is nonstop activity down low, carving out space, battling on the boards and creating extra possessions with his effort. Carr’s impact doesn’t stop in the paint as he rebounds and immediately looks to push the pace with strong outlet passes, igniting transition opportunities. He also runs the floor hard, finishing plays above the rim with authority. His energy, rebounding and ability to turn defense into offense make Carr a crucial piece and a tone setter that will dominate all season long

is a relentless big man who sees the floor and never backs down from contact. Carr is fearless when he has the ball and constantly looks to pile up the stat sheet in each contest. Where Carr thrives the most is on defense. Boxing his opponents out and tracking shots, Carr rebounds with ease. The 6’5 supertstar will only continue to improve heading into his junior season with Fountain-Fort Carson.

Carr continues to rise as he had a solid summer for Hoops Therapy and also got out to the showcase and proved that he belonged. He’s a two-way standout who uses his physicality and abuses smaller defenders. He isn’t afraid to use his strength inside, has nice footwork, and a good feel around the basket. We also saw an improved mid-range game as he’s being able to score from the post. He also dunks in traffic, rebounds and alters shots at the rim, and showed that he’s willing to compete with whoever he’s up against. I am excited to see the Fountain-Fort Carson squad this season. I think they turn heads, and Carr is a big reason as to why.

Carr enters the season after a strong summer that’s highlighted his versatility and toughness. He’s one of those players who plays bigger than his size, using relentless energy to wear down opponents. Offensively, Carr has confidence from deep and his mid range while also attacking the rim with confidence. He’s also had some highlight reel dunks throughout the summer showing how deep his bag of tricks goes.
