On offense, he was slashing to the basket and throwing down dunks with some authority. I also noticed him drain a nice stepback 3 in the All-Star game. On defense, Stroughter had some deflections and steals. Overall, it was a solid showing for the new Utah Prep guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1463264' first='Jonny' last='Collins'] has some real burst when he punches the gas pedal. Defenders had a difficult time slowing him down at times and he also had a couple of crafty finishes. In addition to his acceleration skills, Collins proved to be one of the top dunkers of the weekend. His top highlight was likely a putback dunk, where he high pointed a missed shot, before slamming in it.

OJ Popoola was on the rim much of the camp. He has an ability to spring up at a moment's notice and he gets some serious hangtime. Popoola also showcased his jumper and handles. While he didn't take home the MVP award, I'm sure he was in contention for it. Look for him to make noise out in California this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2624906' first='Damari' last='Sawall'] put his skills and IQ on display throughout The Hoop Gods All-American Camp. His change of direction skills can throw opponents off balance, which can lead to him gaining the separation he needs to get his shot off.

EJ Popoola was another player that I was impressed by. He makes it look easy at times on offense and he knows how to utilize his athleticism. You can also tell that he has a good feel for the game, as he's usually in a good spot to score or he can dish it to an open teammate. On defense, he can cover quick PGs and he uses his vertical to grab boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2960924' first='Kairey' last='Sampaio'] makes things happen on offense. He can create his own shot off the dribble or he can drive it and dump it. I also noticed that he plays with good energy and he can be deceptive. On the other end of the court, Sampaio leverages his size to stay in front of his man. All in all, the 2029 prospect played well and he certainly turned some heads.

Yasin Musa was making smart cuts to he basket off ball, which led to him scoring some easy buckets. He also got up for some nasty dunks and I liked how he played on defense as well. Expect him and [player_tooltip player_id='2477281' first='DJ' last='Hunter'] to be a dangerous backcourt duo for Somerset Losee this season.
