The crafty slasher uses his handles, athleticism, and IQ to get to his spots on a regular basis. I also like how he’ll play off two once he’s in the paint, and he locates the basket well even with chaos going on around him. His top highlight was likely a tough putback dunk that he timed perfectly. In addition to his efforts on offense, he continues to make his presence felt on defense with his shot altering ability.

OJ Popoola was on the rim much of the camp. He has an ability to spring up at a moment’s notice and he gets some serious hangtime. Popoola also showcased his jumper and handles. While he didn’t take home the MVP award, I’m sure he was in contention for it. Look for him to make noise out in California this upcoming season.
