The senior combo guard did his damage at the charity stripe, converting six of his attempts. Collins also buried a pair of threes and finished with 12 points. Defensively, he applied steady pressure, staying active with his hands and giving opposing guards very little space to operate.

Jonny Collins Jonny Collins 6'2" | CG/PG Coronado | 2026 State NV gave the Cougars an extra punch on offense with his athleticism and shot-making ability. He burned defenders a few times to get to the basket and also knocked down a three-pointer along with a jumper. Beyond his scoring, he added value with a drive-and-dish assist and came away with a rebound, providing solid all-around contributions.

He also burned a few defenders and got all the way to the rack on a number of occasions. As a defender, Collins was flying around and looked to make deflections and he collected some steals.

On offense, he can burn defenders with his explosive first step. And he also hits 3’s when he has a clean look. On defense, he can pick of passes and he has some lateral quickness.

Jonny Collins Jonny Collins 6'2" | CG/PG Coronado | 2026 State NV has some real burst when he punches the gas pedal. Defenders had a difficult time slowing him down at times and he also had a couple of crafty finishes. In addition to his acceleration skills, Collins proved to be one of the top dunkers of the weekend. His top highlight was likely a putback dunk, where he high pointed a missed shot, before slamming in it.

Jonny Collins Jonny Collins 6'2" | CG/PG Coronado | 2026 State NV made an impact on both offense and defense down at Section 7. On offense, he utilized his speed to make plays in transition. He also was able to knock down some shots from the perimeter. As a defender, he covered ground a rapid rate and beat guys to their spots. Overall, it was a decent weekend for him and hopefully he can continue to play well the rest of the summer.
