He sets good screens that create advantages for his teammates, and he’s got more offensive touch than a typical big — comfortable knocking down the midrange and finishing with a good hook shot around the basket. Defensively, Stahl holds down the paint and makes his presence felt as a rim protector. He’s set up to make a real impact this high school season.

He floats around off the ball behind the 3-point line and will bury catch-and-shoot opportunities when he gets a clean look. Stahl also hustles to grab offensive rebounds and will go right back up to score second-chance points. On the other end of the court, Stahl utilizes his wingspan to his advantage, closing out on shooters and getting into passing lanes.

Both DeVaughn Dorrough and Erik Hopkins Erik Hopkins 6'4" | PF Foothill | 2028 State NV are out due to injury, and Stahl was asked to do a bit more down in Arizona. On offense, he’s a guy who can hit shots from downtown. Or he can score in the paint when he has room to work with. On defense, he utilizes his height and length to make his matchup uncomfortable.

2027 Forward, Cooper Stahl Cooper Stahl 6'7" | PF/SF Coronado | 2027 State NV , can help the Cougars stretch the floor. He stands at 6’6 and uses his height to shoot over defenders from the outside. His size and wingspan also allow him to guard both small forwards and power forwards on defense.

Cooper Stahl Cooper Stahl 6'7" | PF/SF Coronado | 2027 State NV stood out during the Border League Summer League. He was scoring in the paint and pouring in shots from the perimeter. I also noticed him running the floor well and he hustles when it’s time to get bac on D or rebound. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how he and the rest of the Coronado squad to this weekend.

Stahl has one of the best signature skills of anyone in the class. The fresh face rising sophomore is the type of player that will just go get it. He’s a terrific rebounder, with the ability to grab both in traffic and out of area boards.

Stahl probably should be more of stockriser, as it is the fresh face forward will have a high initial rankings. He’s one of the best pure rebounders in the class, and has shown an evolving low post offensive skill set.

The 2027 forward embodies the word scrappy. He’s a tough, competitive big man that displays a signature skill. Stahl was one of the better Glass Cleaners I saw during the day, using a relentless work ethic to rebound in traffic.

Stahl is beginning to develop a signature trait and that skill was on display this Friday. He rebounded everything, grabbing in traffic, out of area and contested boards. The 2027 forward was a relentless Glass Cleaner, which allowed him to standout on the day.
