Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp - 6 Players to Watch, Part 4

We are less than a month out from the annual Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Joining the Freshman Showcase as arguably the best event that we put on every year, over 100 of the state's best rising sophomores will put their talent on display in front of our team of scouts. This is an important time to get reevaluated for Class of 2028. We may have seen you last fall at our Freshman Showcase, but outside of the top prospects who played varsity as a freshman, a lot could have changed since our scouts last had a chance to evaluate these young prospects. Here are eight guys that we really look forward to watching in early September. Yet another ranked prospect to sign up for our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp, Craig proved himself throughout the spring and summer as one of the best catch-and-shoot threats in the Class of 2028. He was a consistent top performer on the Prep Hoops Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] and we look forward to seeing the Zionsville High School rising sophomore once again in early September.     Our Sophomore ID Camp just keeps getting better and better. We are getting close to having about half of our ranked Class of 2028 prospects in attendance, but Gilbert is our first Top 10 prospect to sign up. The 6'5" wing with a smooth catch-and-shoot stroke looked good this summer for Lawrence North High School after transferring from Warren Central.     Johnson's impressive positional strength and physicality allowed him to carve out a role at the varsity level for South Bend Riley as a freshman while they went on a run to the Class 4A Semi-State. Now, the 6'2" forward continues to expand his game and should have a breakout sophomore season for the Wildcats. We are excited that he has now signed up for the Sophomore ID Camp.     The size, length, and athleticism of this young prospect make him a very intriguing rising sophomore forward at Homestead High School. We had the chance to see him a handful of times over the summer and will look forward to getting an updated evaluation of McNiece at the upcoming Sophomore ID Camp.     There has certainly been some attrition of talent due to outgoing transfers this summer from North Central High School. However, this playmaking combo guard is one that the Panthers should be excited about going forward. Smith, who is now 6'2"-6'3", had a strong summer at the varsity level and should be a key contributor this coming season as a sophomore.     Woolwine got his feet wet at the varsity level for Jimtown last season as a freshman but now is ready to step into a much larger role as a sophomore. The floor general style point guard is coming off of a strong summer with Indiana Impact and has proven himself as a talented playmaker. We look forward to getting a more in-depth evaluation at the upcoming Sophomore ID Camp.
