High School Spotlight: Noblesville Millers

The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. He is 319-196 as a head coach.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Will be a contender to win Sectional 8</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Player(s):&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II']/[player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Noblesville will be coming into this season we high expectations and the two guys that will be leading them are senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker']. There are very few teams in the state that will come in with at least two D1 seniors and that is the Millers will have in the backcourt with Curry having multiple offers at that level and Walker recently committing to Butler. Together, these two were the leading scorers for Noblesville as juniors contributing over 31.0 ppg. The combination of Curry and Walker is going to help lead to a lot of wins for the Millers this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player:&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='2539932' first='Barrett' last='Rucker']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A sophomore that is going to step up into a big role this season for Noblesville is [player_tooltip player_id='2539932' first='Barrett' last='Rucker']. At 6'5, Rucker is a skilled wing that has the ability to make plays at all levels. He can step out beyond the arc as a shooter, impact the game with his size inside, and has shown the ball skill to compete as a driver and creator.
