The 6-foot-2 guard is a menace on defense and really impressed with his ability to guard a variety of players; he can slide his feet and use his active hands against smaller guards on the perimeter but can also wall up and stay disciplined against bigger players on switches. Offensively, he has above-the-rim athleticism and a lot of strength on drives to the hoop. He also really understands how to find cutters on backdoors and threw a couple of nice no-look bounce passes. Pires should have a nice season at Marinapolis and will probably find a D3 fit after that.

Smith was maybe the most explosive downhill guard at Curry's camp. The 5-foot-11 guard is a freight train in transition and can really get going once he has a head of steam. He has great leaping ability off of one and two feet and also has elite quickness when handling the ball on the break. He definitely needs to improve his outside shot a bit if he wants to play high level D3 ball, but the athleticism and explosion are where they need to be for a sub 6-foot guard who wants to play college hoops.

Calendar probably had the most college-ready body at Curry's camp, and he's only a rising sophomore. He has excellent strength for his age and was able to consistently keep his line on drives to the rim; he had TONS of finishes over the defense and was able to get to the front of the basket at will. He also did a great job finding teammates once the defense helped on him in the paint. The shot is still coming along, but Calendar is at a really awesome starting point to play college hoops in a few years.

Ferguson was pretty close to making first team and he's only a rising sophomore. The 6-foot-2 combo guard was electric with the ball in his hands and showcased a wide array of dribble moves and ways to attack the basket throughout the day. He doesn't really have an offensive weakness and is able to play on the ball as a creator but also off ball as a shooter and second side attacker. The athleticism and skill are already there, and he could certainly still be growing physically. Sky's the limit for Furguson, and it's too early to rule out any levels of college basketball.

Chang came all the way from Florida and made an impression with his floor general capabilities as a point guard. He's certainly undersized at 5-foot-10, but he has solid quickness with the dribble and understands when to use it vs. being patient and playing at his own pace. He has a super compact handle and though it isn't flashy, it's hard to take the rock from him and he's always low to the ground and steady. Height is going to limit his recruitment, but he's good enough to find a D3 fit somewhere, and an improved outside shot would definitely improve his chances there.
