Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Chang came all the way from Florida and made an impression with his floor general capabilities as a point guard. He’s certainly undersized at 5-foot-10, but he has solid quickness with the dribble and understands when to use it vs. being patient and playing at his own pace. He has a super compact handle and though it isn’t flashy, it’s hard to take the rock from him and he’s always low to the ground and steady. Height is going to limit his recruitment, but he’s good enough to find a D3 fit somewhere, and an improved outside shot would definitely improve his chances there.

Chang was the engine behind Morningside Academy’s 16-11 season, leading the team in scoring (16.1 PPG) and assists (5.1 APG) while adding 6.0 RPG and 3.2 SPG. A tough, two-way combo guard at 5-10, he broke the school’s all-time scoring record and continues to refine his leadership, court vision, and ability to control tempo. His impact goes beyond the stat sheet—he’s the type of player who elevates those around him.
