2027 Rankings are Updated

Our 2027 rankings have been updated on the website! This was a big update as a busy month of July grassroots basketball saw some players establish themselves as priorities for Division I programs with those coaches now able to directly contact prospects in the class of 2027.

Our updated 2027 rankings sees three Spire prospects in the top four with King Gibson King Gibson 6'5" | CG Spire Institute | 2027 State #10 Nation OH , Jaylan Mitchell Jaylan Mitchell 6'7" | PF Overtime Elite | 2027 State #78 Nation GA and Shawn Foster Shawn Foster 6'2" | CG Lima Senior | 2027 State #157 Nation OH near the top. Joshua Tyson Joshua Tyson 6'2" | PG Lakota West | 2027 State #58 Nation OH is the highest ranked OHSAA prospect as he comes in at number three with grassroots teammates Isaiah Mack-Russell Isaiah Mack-Russell 6'5" | SF Winton Woods | 2027 State #128 Nation OH and Bryce Curry Bryce Curry 6'3" | SG Lakota West | 2027 State #123 Nation OH at five and six respectively. At seventh is another Spire prospect with Darrell Davis Darrell Davis 5'11" | PG Spire Institute | 2027 State #65 Nation OH taking that spot. The rise of prep programs has been a major topic of discussion as players ranked 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 13th all play for non OHSAA programs. While we feature these prospects in our rankings and with coverage, we will remain committed to providing the most extensive coverage of OHSAA stars from across Ohio as they remain the prospects who take up a majority of the list. Adding more talent to Ohio will only help players get extra exposure during their careers.
