With the month of July coming to a close we have been taking a look back at the summer through a big picture lens. We have gone class-by-class highlighting stock-risers from the grassroots season and welcomed in the Class of 2029 with some of the top incoming freshmen top watch. Now, as college coaches put their heads together to unpack what they saw this summer, we wanted to touch on some more under-the-radar rising seniors who should be discussed during some of these de-briefing recruiting meetings.

Caffee really emerged as a junior for Bethany Christian averaging 13.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game while connecting on 59 three-point shots. That high-level shooting ability transferred to the spring and summer months with Region Elite on the Puma NXT Circuit. The 6'1" guard continued to prove himself as a catch-and-shoot threat while also being able to create off of the dribble against closeouts. He currently holds an offer from Bluffton and has visited Judson. Small college coaches should continue to take a look at this under-the-radar prospect from northern Indiana.

There is a lot of college-level talent in Hamilton Southeastern High School's rising senior class. Jacobs is one that is flying a little bit under-the-radar that can play at the next level. The 6'1" guard is versatile enough to play on or off of the ball as he showed throughout the spring and summer with Indiana Basketball Club. He averaged 5.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game as a junior for the Royals.

A strong, quick lead guard from Anderson High School, Lewis finished the summer playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 17u. He stepped into a primary ball-handling role out in South Carolina at the Adidas Gold East Championship and certainly looked the part while playing against a high-level of competition. Lewis is at his best as a downhill playmaker. He works well off of ballscreens and can consistently get paint touches. As a junior, Lewis averaged 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. His two-way impact on the perimeter is something that small college coaches will want to check out.

Mathis put up big numbers as a junior at Perry Meridian High School averaging 15.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He has since transferred to Scecina Memorial for his senior season. The talented 5'11" point guard seamlessly filled in with his new team in June at the Charlie Hughes Showcase and played well on the UA Rise Circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] 17u. Mathis has visited Anderson and should continue to garner some small college interest heading into his senior season.

Coming off of a strong junior season for a Class 3A Top 10 Princeton Community High School team, Newson started to turn some heads this spring and summer on the grassroots circuit. The 6'2"-6'3" two-way guard really p[program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last=''] as a versatile and disruptive defender. He uses his length and athleticism well on the perimeter to play in the passing lanes and is a pesky on-ball defender as well. Offensively, Newson is an efficient scorer with some explosiveness when getting downhill to his right hand. Look for him to step into a bigger offensive role in the backcourt as a senior and emerge as a solid under-the-radar small college prospect.

Obermeyer really caught our attention when watching Penn High School play at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. His size and versatility stood out as he rebounded at high-level, finished around the basketball offensively, and guarded multiple different positions within the same possession effectively. He is 6'4"-6'5" with long arms and good footwork that allows him to switch on the defensive end. The rising senior forward recently picked up his first offer from Alma College. He is a solid under-the-radar prospect for small college to check out.

We've had Robb on our radar for awhile now after first seeing him at the Pocket City Fall League a couple of years ago. He is a shifty guard that creates his own shot well off of the bounce. His ball handling allows him to create separation and he gets good elevation on his jump shot. Robb is an all-around shot-maker that excels from beyond the arc and in the mid-range as a jump shooter. The rising senior at Mt. Vernon (Posey) High School should be one of the top scores in the area this coming season.

A small, lightning quick guard, Rhodes plays well above his height. He is physically strong which allows him to play through and absorb some contact on the perimeter and has an explosive pop at the end of his drives when elevating to finish. Rhodes will once again play a big role in a loaded Crown Point High School backcourt. His ability to make plays for his teammates and contribute at a high-level without needing to score a ton should attract the attention of small college programs in need of a true point guard.

Energy and motor are two words that immediately come to mind when watching Woelfle. The 5'9" point guard does a great job of running the team, whether that be Terre Haute North High School or the Indiana Jammers on the UA Rise Circuit, and consistently proved himself to be a winner. He averaged 10.2 points and 3.4 assists per game as a junior and made 36 three-point shots.
