Expert Analysis
Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
A pair of talented sophomores lead the way for this Anderson team, but Lewis is a great floor general that helps run the show. The playmaking senior averages 12.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Lewis is very strong and quick, has great on-ball defensive instincts, and can set up his teammates at a high-level. Good under-the-radar unsigned senior point guard.

A strong, quick lead guard from Anderson High School, Lewis finished the summer playing with D1 Indiana 17u. He stepped into a primary ball-handling role out in South Carolina at the Adidas Gold East Championship and certainly looked the part while playing against a high-level of competition. Lewis is at his best as a downhill playmaker. He works well off of ballscreens and can consistently get paint touches. As a junior, Lewis averaged 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. His two-way impact on the perimeter is something that small college coaches will want to check out.

The young stars at Liberty Christian caught a lot of the headlines coming out of Friday’s Indiana Basketball All-Star Classic. However, another hometown product turned in an excellent performance as well. Lewis, a 5’10” guard from Anderson High School, finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds in the first Futures Game on Friday evening. He is super quick with the ball in his hands and does a great job of getting into the paint consistently off of the dribble. Look for him to blossom into a larger role this season alongside some other talented players at Anderson.

Lewis is a quick point guard who handled the ball incredibly well all weekend long. He also looked to attack and finish with strength at the rim.
