A long perimeter player, Obermeyer is versatile on the offensive end and knows how to use his size and length to his advantage. On the defensive end, he guards multiple spots and can be reliable on any switch that may happen. He could give Fishers some sneaky trouble on Saturday.

Obermeyer really caught our attention when watching Penn High School play at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. His size and versatility stood out as he rebounded at high-level, finished around the basketball offensively, and guarded multiple different positions within the same possession effectively. He is 6’4″-6’5″ with long arms and good footwork that allows him to switch on the defensive end. The rising senior forward recently picked up his first offer from Alma College. He is a solid under-the-radar prospect for small college to check out.

This is a guy who excels in his role. Obermeyer, who is more 6’4″-6’5″ now, was really impressive in Penn’s game against New Albany over at Westfield High School on Saturday. He has great size on the wing, handles the ball pretty well, and is comfortable scoring around the basket. Obermeyer really stands out as a versatile defender and rebounder while playing with an excellent motor. He communicates very well for a high school player as well. Under-the-radar small college prospect for the Kingsmen.

Obermeyer definitely caught my eye with his play at The Stage. He was strong and athletic and first flaunted a nice jumper with 3 point range. Obermeyer also showed the ability to attack the rim and see the floor while on the move, which gave him the ability to drive and dish.
