Below is a preview of three games that feature teams from Pennsylvania which I will be looking forward to watching during Saturday's slate of action at Philly HS Live Session I.

Chester Charter School vs. Conwell-Egan (9:00AM at 6TH Man Center)

Scoring point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2492465' first='Jah' last='Sabb'] and combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='2427251' first='Nieem' last='Gregory'] pilot a CCS squad that is deep and talented. Sabb destroyed the competition on the spring circuit with his quick bursts and elusive handles. That combination repeatedly got Sabb to the cup for buckets. Gregory is a long and solidly built guard with a physical edge to his game. When he is not bulling his way past defenders off the bounce for lay-ins, Gregory is popping jumpers. Also, for CCS, college coaches will want to scout point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2430724' first='Dom' last='Miller']. Conwell-Egan's roster is stacked with college prospects. In the backcourt Egan features the dynamic tandem of [player_tooltip player_id='2145579' first='Matthew' last='Tollerson-Irby'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2427221' first='Myles' last='Moore']. Providing points from the wing will be 6'6” athletic slasher [player_tooltip player_id='1550115' first='Justin' last='Bobb']. Hybrid-forward [player_tooltip player_id='2542735' first='Brayden' last='Martin'] can score from anywhere on the court. Shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2427311' first='Cole' last='Zalewski'] stretches the floor with his accurate three-point shooting.

Muhlenberg vs. Chester (10:10AM at Jefferson U)

[player_tooltip player_id='2425549' first='Elias' last='Hemmings'] is now the No. 1 option for the Muhls, and he is ready for that role. He is an extremely versatile and athletic three-level scorer. Hemmings can operate as a point guard or play off-the-ball. He can splash jumpers and produce point off the bounce. His transition finishing skills are next level. Plus, Hemmings is a fantastic passer. But Muhlenberg is not a one man show. Their roster also boasts floor general [player_tooltip player_id='2531113' first='Justin' last='Armstrong'] and shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2774807' first='Joshua' last='Miller']. Armstrong is a dribble wizard with an incredible ability to hit step back and fadeaways from all over the court. Leading the charge for Chester will be Ramee Davis, Jr. Davis is a two-way guard prospect who posted 10 point per night as a freshman. His ability to quickly turn defensive stops and loose balls into fast break opportunities is unique. Along with Davis, college coaches will want to watch Chester senior [player_tooltip player_id='2400242' first='Daron' last='Harris'] and rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2629530' first='Jay'son' last='Demby'].

Cardinal O'Hara vs. Parkland (6:20PM at Jefferson U)

With a couple games under their belt at Philly HS Live, I will be interested to see if any chemistry has developed between O'Hara's talented returners and the intriguing 2027 prospects they added via transfer. O'Hara's core features 3-point ace [player_tooltip player_id='2710256' first='Jack' last='Quinn'], athletic combo-guard Kasheem Bronzell, and hybrid forward [player_tooltip player_id='2563321' first='Toby' last='Hartman']. Look for incoming freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2812229' first='Dylan' last='Jones'], a 6'6” prospect with solid skills to make contributions too. The transfers we mentioned include [player_tooltip player_id='2384373' first='DJ' last='Jones'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2364682' first='Kiyen' last='Alexander']. Jones spent the 2024-25 season at Sanford High School in Delaware. He was the No. 6 ranked 2027 prospect in Delaware. Last year Alexander played for St. Elizabeth's in Delaware and was also ranked as one of the top 2027 prospects in the state. Parkland's counter effort will begin with combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2427378' first='Blake' last='Nassry'] who posted a monster spring circuit and is now one of the hottest 2027s in the state. Running with Nassry will be open court phenom [player_tooltip player_id='2709543' first='TJ' last='Lawrence'] as well as power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2390579' first='Cameron' last='Hines']. Hines is a beast on the interior who can score by powering through defenders or using his soft touch to score over them.
