Lawrence was the breakout star of the District 11-6A tournament as he averaged 15.7 points per game and posted 21 points (2 threes) in a win over Northampton. Lawrence’s agility, speed, tight handles and finishing skills combine to create a serious scoring threat on the fast break. Plus, his court vision and unselfish nature make Lawrence a willing passer in the open court. On half-court possessions Lawrence can use his quick burst to blow past defenders and get to the cup for lay-ins. Lawrence can also pop jumpers from all over the floor, including from behind the arc. It should be noted that Lawrence is also an all-state football player (linebacker).

After a solid regular season in which he averaged 7 ppg., Lawrence simply exploded onto the recruiting map with his stellar post season efforts. Across the District 11-6A tournament, Lawrence posted games of 21 points (2 threes), 14 points (3 triples) and 12 points. Lawrence is a dynamic multi-sport athlete (all-state football selection too) with elite speed and change of direction moves. Combine those assets with his finishing skills and court vision and you get a prospect who can score or distribute in transition. On half-court possessions Lawrence can blow past defenders off the dribble and pop jumpers from all over the floor, including from deep. At the defensive end of the floor, Lawrence is a plus prospect because of his active hands, quick lateral movements, and linebacker instincts.

Over the course of the regular season, Lawrence posted 7 points per night. However, across his last three games Lawrence is averaging 15.7 ppg. Included in his recent surge was a 21-point effort (2 threes) in Parkland’s D11-6A title game victory over Northampton. Lawrence also contributed 14 points (3 threes) in their 6A 1st Round state tourney win over Downingtown West. Lawrence’s speed, change of direction handles and finishing moves make him a transition phenom. On half-court possessions those same assets enable Lawrence to create off the dribble for himself or teammates. Lawrence’s jumper is automatic from anywhere on the court. At the defensive end of the floor, Lawrence’s active hands and quick lateral movements make him a disruptive force.

Lawrence really stepped up during the last two games of Parkland’s march to the District 11-6A title. In the semifinals he posted 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Then in the championship contest Lawrence drained 2 threes on his way to 21 points. Lawrence (7.2 ppg. in 2024-25) is an electric athlete who this past fall was an 6A All-State selection in football. On the hoops court, Lawrence’s athleticism, speed and change of direction moves get him to the rim on the fast break. On half-court possessions those same assets enable Lawrence to create off the dribble for himself or teammates. Plus, Lawrence can hit jumpers from the baseline, in the mid-range as well as behind the arc. On defense, Lawrence active hands and quick lateral movements produce intense on-ball pressure.
