The grassroots circuit is certainly different than it used to be. Gone are the days of there just being a handful of teams from each state all converging to the same locations each weekend. Shoe circuits have led to taking the best teams all across the country while even at the local level there are multiple different events each weekend. For example, this weekend there were three different events within a 10 mile radius of the Noblesville/Fishers area. Then, about 30 miles west, there was a shoe circuit event in Lebanon. Of course, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage all weekend long from all four events. We will continue cranking out content from the busy weekend over the next few day and now want to highlight a handful of under-the-radar prospects that really made their name known this weekend.

College coaches always come around this time of year desperately looking for size to round out their recruiting class. Get ahead of the game and start recruiting Dokes right now for you Class of 2026. He is as physical as the come on the low block. The 6'6" forward/center is a load to handle inside and was a big part of [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana']'s successful weekend. He can score it in the post, rebound at a high level, and hold his ground on the block defensively. Dokes is definitely one that small college programs should have on their radar.

There were a ton of talented guards in Pike's backcourt this season, but Macon carved out his role throughout the year and finished as the Red Devils fourth leading scorer. The 5'11" playmaker has continued his strong play into the summer helping lead Hoopmatics to another undefeated weekend. Macon had a 16-point performance in one game where he really showcased his quickness with the ball and his ability to finish against size at the end of his drives. If you like to play fast and want someone to run the show in transition Macon could be a name to keep on your list.

Mohamud is putting together a really strong summer and should be on college coaches list of guys to watch at the Run N Slam next weekend. The 6'2" guard from University High School averaged 21 points per game while shooting an incredible 14-22 (63.6%) from three-point range as the [program_tooltip program_id='2305499' first='Hoosier' last='State Prospects'] went 2-1 over the weekend. He was the third leading scorer this past season for the Trailblazers who were the Class 2A State Runner-Up.

Brownstown Central has been turning out prospects year after year and this versatile 6'4" forward appears to be the next on the list. Pendleton knocked in a couple of three-point shots late in the game that we watched over the weekend and had a physical, athletic putback at the rim. There is a lot to like about his game and should be a sought after small college prospect. He is also a very good baseball player which could factor into his recruitment.

A 5'9" guard from Mooresville High School, Thompson-Moore played a key role in the [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] going 3-1 on the weekend in Lebanon. He is very quick with the ball, has a tight handle, and runs the show both in transition and in the halfcourt. Thompson-Moore had a stretch where he finished consistently against size both at the rim and in intermediate range with a variety of floaters and pull-ups. He is a true table-setter that plays with a non-stop motor on both ends of the floor.

The production speaks for itself. White, a 6'2" guard from the defending Class 3A State Champion South Bend St. Jospeh, started the weekend off scoring 23 points in a win for [program_tooltip program_id='2814675' first='Indiana' last='Eclipse']. He then scored 16 points and 21 points respectively in their next two games. White is very athletic and is confident as a driver attacking closeouts, playing in transition, or breaking down his man in isolation. Intriguing two-way wing to keep an eye on this spring and summer.

Williams put up big numbers for Purdue Poly this past high school season and has been among the leaders for Hoopmatics during a very successful spring. The physical 6'3" wing averaged 16 points and 7 rebounds per game during a perfect 3-0 weekend. His positional size and strength makes him really tough to handle off of the dribble and he is a high percentage finisher once he gets two feet in the paint.

At a lot of other programs around the state [player_tooltip player_id='2472279' first='Tommy' last='Williams'] would already be a name that college coaches have on their radar. However, playing at Fishers, the 6'1" guard has had to wait his turn a bit longer. Williams used his length, athleticism, and excellent defensive ability to earn some minutes throughout his junior season, but he is now really ready to breakout over the summer and going into his senior season with the Tigers. He played well with Indiana Basketball Club Select 3SGB on Saturday morning. Definitely one of the top "under-the-radar" names, but that will likely change in the coming months.
