Expert Analysis

Pendleton is an uncommitted small college prospect that had a handful of schools in attendance to watch him on Sunday. The 6’4″ wing shot the ball very well from three-point range while showcasing some sneaky athleticism both when slashing to the basket off of the dribble and on the defensive end. A Brownstown Central High School senior, Pendleton played very well and helped his stock at the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout.

This kid is a shooter! Lane plays hard but has another gear that most players do not have. When he gets there, watch out! Pendleton also rebounds well. He is capable of going off for big points at a moment’s notice.

Scoring 41 points and shooting 7-11 from three-point range will certainly catch the attention of some people. That is exactly what Pendleton, a rising senior forward from Brownstown Central High School, did on Sunday against Beech Grove. The 6’4″ forward has such a versatile offensive game. He obviously can light it up from beyond the arc, but he is also very comfortable and effective when playing with his back to the basket on the block. Penldeton has really solidified himself as one of the top small college prospects in the rising senior class.

Brownstown Central has been turning out prospects year after year and this versatile 6’4″ forward appears to be the next on the list. Pendleton knocked in a couple of three-point shots late in the game that we watched over the weekend and had a physical, athletic putback at the rim. There is a lot to like about his game and should be a sought after small college prospect. He is also a very good baseball player which could factor into his recruitment.
