Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. We are in the gym every single weekend throughout the spring and summer not just covering our own events, but also hitting some of the top circuits across the country. During this spring live evaluation period we had boots on the ground coverage at both 3SSB Session II in Mishawaka, Indiana and UAA Session II in Hamilton, Ohio. As always, we will be highlighting top performers and producing a ton of content over the next several days from our time spent at these events. Here are some of the top stock-risers from the state across all events from the live period.

You won't find a bigger interior presence in Indiana's Class of 2027 than this 6'10" center from Brownsburg High School. His development has taken a steady upward trajectory over the years and he is starting to really flourish this spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 17u. Gordon has a soft finishing touch inside and a go-to right hand, left shoulder move that is hard to stop due to his size. He even has flashed the ability to space the floor and make open catch-and-shoot three-point shots. College programs across a variety of levels will be watching him closely heading into the summer months.

The athleticism and quickness of this two-way guard stands out right away. Moran III was a major part of Portage's excellent backcourt as a junior and has had a good spring so far with [program_tooltip program_id='2399422' first='Darius' last='Garland Elite'] 17u on the P32 Circuit. He was a standout once again in Dallas showing off his ability to guard all 94-feet of the court. Offensively he is a right hand driver, slasher, and threat in transition. He is a solid under-the-radar name to follow heading into the summer.

Mulenga has been a consistent standout for Phenom United Indiana 3SGB 17u this spring. He checks all of the boxes immediately in terms of athletic and physical tools. The 6'4"-6'5" forward is a versatile defender, a very good rebounder, and a consistent finisher around the basket. Look for him to continue playing well into the summer and then grow into a valuable rotation role as a senior at Fishers High School. Small college programs should absolutely be taking a look at him this summer.

One of the best remaining unsigned seniors in Indiana's Class of 2026, Petty had a very strong showing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 17u down in Texas on the Adidas Gold Circuit. The Lawrence Central High School product has good size and length on the perimeter, has a pop of athleticism in the open floor, and projects as a good catch-and-shoot threat. We have always been high on his three-point shooting ability. Petty was recently offered by Danville Area Community College coming out of the weekend.

A solid, under-the-radar guard out of Evansville North High School, Pieterek has a been a big part of a successful spring for Hoop Club 812. He was among the standouts for the group during their perfect 4-0 weekend at the E32 live period session in Dallas, Texas over the weekend. The 6'0" guard is excellent off of the dribble, has a smooth pull-up jumper, and has proven himself as a playmaker for others as well. He projects as a true combo guard that can consistently make plays either from a live dribble as the primary ball handler or from the catch attacking closeouts.

Rogers-Smith was a valuable backcourt piece on New Haven's Class 3A State Runner-Up team as a junior. Now, this spring, he has blossomed as one of the leaders for LVL Up GBL 17u. He was a top performer at the Grassroots Basketball League's live period event in Indianapolis showcasing his quick-twitch driving ability and all-around playmaking skills. The 6'0" guard is an under-the-radar backcourt name to follow going into the summer.

Following a strong junior season that saw him average 15.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game at Bishop Chatard, Sahm has played well for a very successful Indiana Basketball Club 17u team. The 6'3" guard has a good combination of positional size, strength, and athleticism on the perimeter. He is a strong driver, capable mid-range scorer, and a good rebounder from the perimeter. Sahm is another under-the-radar name that had a very good showing down in Texas and is one to follow heading into the summer.

There were a bunch of Indiana teams that went south to Texas for the Adidas Gold Circuit during the spring live evaluation period. One of the standout performers was this 5'11" guard from Muncie Central High School. Playing with Indiana Basketball Club Select 17u, Snead averaged an impressive 21.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.8 steals per game according to statistical data available online. He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Adidas Gold event.
