The Evansville North/Hoop Club 2027 Guard is one of the top floor generals in the area and has been outstanding to start the AAU season. 6’0” lead guard that balances the game with the ball in his hands about as well as any guard I’ve covered. He’s not the quickest or most athletic guard, but he’s high IQ and has a good frame that he uses well to get to his spots while staying on balance with the ability to score or facilitate. Capable three-point shooter but thrives on getting downhill to create. Hard nosed defender that’s disciplined and always in the right spot.

A strong, playmaking guard for Evansville North, Pieterek was a big part of what nearly was an impressive upset victory over Terre Haute North on Friday night. The 6’0″ junior guard was relentless getting to the basket and used his strength to play through contact and score at the end of his drives. He led Evansville North with 17 points in the 59-58 overtime loss. The Huskies finished the regular season with an 18-5 recored and will enter Sectional 16 as the on paper favorite.

. One of the leading scorers for the Huskies at 10.8 points per game, Pieterek is a combo guard that plays tough and physical on both ends of the floor. He is more natural on the ball but has shown flashes of being a playmaker off of it. He will be one of the more aggressive players in the gym at the Fishers Tournament.

Steady true lead guard that plays the game the right way. Hard nosed guard out of Evansville North impacted the game on both ends of the floor. Physical guard that was able to guard multiple positions and not give anything up. He’s a quick reacting guard that pressured the ball well all day long. Offensively he was aggressive getting in the lane. He doesn’t get sped up with the ball in his hands. He was able to get to any spot on the floor that he wanted . He’s able to use his physicality to play through contact and stay on balance on his way to the basket. He’s a crafty finisher that’s capable of finishing with either hand. Will play a huge role as a junior in a loaded backcourt for the Huskies this season.

We got to know this Evansville North High School prospect over the summer as he was a consistent standout for Evansville Finest on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Pieterek played his way onto a couple of All-Tournament teams and was once again one that caught our attention at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The talented guard does a great job of getting to the basket to score off of the dribble. Look for him to blossom into a role this winter at Evansville North.

Pieterek was a standout at a few of our Prep Hoops Circuit events throughout the spring and summer. His strong helped him burst onto our radar here at Prep Hoops Indiana as the 5’10” guard put up some big scoring numbers with Evansville Finest 15u. The skilled backcourt threat can shoot it from well beyond the arc, create his own looks in the mid-range, and gets downhill to the rim where he finishes with either hand. Look for him to make an impact at the varsity level this season for Evansville North High School.

Pieterek has had a great spring for Evansville Finest 2027. He is coming off of a weekend that saw him average 11 points per game at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament including putting up 15 points in a narrow 66-62 loss to an excellent EG10 2027 team. The 5’10” guard is very crafty off the bounce with excellent ball handling ability and good overall playmaking chops. He is more than willing to set up his teammates while also having a knack for creating his own scoring opportunities. Pieterek is definitely one to keep an eye on coming out of Evansville North High School.
