One of the more versatile scorers that I’ve seen this spring and early summer, Jacoby Cooper Jacoby Cooper 6'1" | PF IN of Evansville North playing for WeDifferent 812 16u. A 6’2” Wing that plays longer than what he is. He has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. Really nice three-point shooter off the catch and off the dribble. Excels in isolation scoring with good ball handling and wiggle. Can get to his spot in the midrange and rise up over defenders. Would like to see him get all the way to the basket more and cut down on some forced shots, but he’s shown he can take and move tough contested shots.

A smooth pure scorer out of Evansville North that has had a really nice start to his spring for WeDifferent 812 16u. A long and lanky 6’2 guard that is constantly in attack mode. Knows how to use his body well when getting to his spots. A crafty scorer in the lane with the ability to use either hand around the basket. Confident stroke from the three-point line, but is best getting downhill. Has the potential to be a big time scorer heading into his junior season.

He runs with WeDifferent 812 and will be an offensive weapon to watch. This kid is a smooth shooter with a lethal stroke. Cooper is a long 6’1″ and is an extra-quick athlete. He will stand out this weekend with his sharpshooting, and Mr. Cooper is expected to have a great weekend.

From the moment Cooper let his shot go, he grabbed attention. The underclassman brings a true 3-and-D presence, combining perimeter shooting with the ability to defend. He used his length well to cut off drives and showed solid lateral quickness on the defensive end. Offensively, he displayed a smooth, confident stroke from three and thrived as a spot-up option with a clean, high release that is tough to contest.

The most impressive player in Pool B was 6’1” Evansville North product Jacoby Cooper Jacoby Cooper 6'2" | SF Evansville North | 2028 IN . He played with a ton of confidence scoring from all over the floor. He relies on the jump shot a little too much. Would like to see him get downhill and use his athleticism, but yesterday he shot the ball extremely well. Good rebounder and versatile defender that can guard multiple positions. Will be a name to remember in the future.

Lengthy wing that was versatile on the defensive end with his ability to guard multiple positions. Active rebounder with the skill set to rip and run defensive rebounds and lead the break. Offensively he was aggressive in his drives. Was able to play through contact and stay on balance and finish.

Cooper stood out as a shooter throughout the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He made a tough stepback three-point shot in 3-on-3 play and then hit another deep on the wing. Later, in 5-on-5 action, the 5’11” guard continued to shoot it well while also making some plays in transition. He also jumped a passing lane showing off some quick defensive instincts. Cooper is an intriguing young player to follow.
