For the second straight season Williams was among the leading scorers in the state of Indiana. The athletic guard averaged 26.1 points per game this season for Purdue Poly Englewood. He is an aggressive driver that plays through contact well and can score it efficiently inside of 15 feet. Scholarship-worthy perimeter player.

Williams continues to have an excellent week for Hoopmatics 17u despite his team coming up short on the scoreboard. The athletic, 6’3″ guard is a relentless driver that is hard to stop from getting downhill. His physical and athletic tools make him a tough matchup on the perimeter and he has learned how to utilize those advantageous positions even here at a very high level. The Purdue Poly High School rising senior scored 23 points in a tough loss on Friday.

Hoopmatics 17u qualified for 3SSB play after a great spring and were matched up against a very talented Power Five 17u squad on Wednesday afternoon. However, they held their own valiantly and certainly looked like they belonged. That was especially true with Williams. The 6’3″ guard out of Purdue Poly High School was able to operate using his size and athleticism that translated just fine to this high level of play. He consistently got to the basket, finished against size, and converted when he would earn a trip to the free throw line. Small college programs should be taking a look at Williams.

We’ve grown to really like Williams’ size and strong frame on the perimeter. He has the ability to make defenders bounce off of him on the way to the rim and was a consistent matchup problem throughout the weekend while helping lead Hoopmatics to a tournament championship on Sunday. The Purdue Polytechnic guard had a big junior season and is definitely an under-the-radar name that college coaches should keep an eye on going into the summer months.

Williams put up big numbers for Purdue Poly this past high school season and has been among the leaders for Hoopmatics during a very successful spring. The physical 6’3″ wing averaged 16 points and 7 rebounds per game during a perfect 3-0 weekend. His positional size and strength makes him really tough to handle off of the dribble and he is a high percentage finisher once he gets two feet in the paint.

The combination of size, strength, and athleticism on the wing makes Williams a very intriguing two-way prospect. He burst onto the scene this season for Purdue Polytechnic averaging 16.8 points per game while leading the Techies to a 14-12 record. Williams has risen to #122 in our prospect rankings.

The 6’3″ junior guard scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Techies who are now 12-6 on the season. Williams has really emerged this season as an under-the-radar guard to follow in the Class of 2026.
