Bahr proved to be the best offensive player on the best 16U team at The Rock Spring Classic as he led his squad to the Platinum Bracket championship with his aggressive play off the bounce, his ability to finish at the rim and his penchant for making some big three-point shots. One of the hardest-working class of 2027 prospects in the state, Bahr is a physical player with size and a strong desire to help his team win. He accomplished a lot as a sophomore at Aquinas, helping the Blugolds to a share of the Mississippi Valley Conference title, a regional title, a sectional crown and, finally, a WIAA Division 4 Gold Ball. Bahr averaged 13.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists while helping Aquinas to a 26-3 record.

All good teams have good team players who know how to compete and make winning plays for their team. Servais does all of those things for the 26ers. His steady play, ability to make good reads with the ball in his hands, and his shot-making skill at big moments were instrumental in helping the 26ers win the 16U championship at The Rock Spring Classic. A two-year varsity performer at La Crosse Central, Servais joined Bahr on the all-Mississippi Valley Conference second team. He averaged just over 12 ppg as a sophomore and his consistent play on both ends of the court helped the Riverhawks improve throughout the season.

Jones is a versatile backcourt performer who can play either guard position. He has solid ball handling, passing and shooting skills and plays with lots of energy and effort. La Crosse Central has the luxury of playing two point guards at the same time in Servais and Jones, and that added benefit also proved to be a big asset for the [program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Wisconsin' last='26ers']. Jones made some jump shots and beat defenders off the bounce to create for himself and his teammates. An honorable mention all-league pick in the Mississippi Valley Conference, Jones has a bright future ahead of him as he continues to add strength and weight to his frame.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076023' first='Wisconsin' last='Academy'] had a difficult time in its matchup with the [program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Wisconsin' last='26ers'], but it wasn't because of the play of Seim. The skilled and fundamentally sound 6-foot-4 forward performed well for the Academy, scoring around the basket and from mid range. He has a long frame and possesses very good footwork, both in the post and when catching the ball and facing up on the perimeter. Seim will add weight and strength over the next two seasons and become one of the elite players in the Western Division of the Trailways Conference. He averaged 15.3 points and 8.2 rebounds as a sophomore at Fall River, earning honorable mention all-league honors.

A player who continues to impress and figures to make another climb up in the future Prep Hoops Wisconsin Player Rankings, Toepel was outstanding all weekend for the [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane'] squad that finished second in the 16U Platinum bracket. His ability to put the ball on the floor, spin in the lane, and score off the glass were difficult for opponents to stop. He has very good size, good physical strength, a nice outside jump shot and the ability to grab rebounds on both ends of the court. His mobility and athleticism also are assets for [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane']. Toepel averaged 10.5 ppg and 4.4 rpg as a sophomore at Arrowhead.

The proverbial "coach on the floor," Walz ran the show for [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane'] and did so in an orderly, efficient and skilled way. He was patient with the ball in his hands, moved it when it needed to be moved and popped in three-point shots when defenders sagged off him to clog the lane. The son of Wisconsin Lutheran coach Ryan Walz, [player_tooltip player_id='2412809' first='Riley' last='Walz'] has very good basketball instincts and is a lead guard who can pass, shoot and dribble at a high level. He played significant minutes off the bench as a sophomore for the Wisconsin Lutheran squad that went 28-2 and won the WIAA Division 1 state championship. Look for him to be a starter at PG the next two seasons for the Vikings.

Another solid as a rock player in the [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane'] program, Hans is a player with size, versatility and a competitive nature. He can drill three-point shots, get into the lane off the dribble and fill the lanes in transition. He has the athleticism to become a very good rebounder as well. Hans helped Lake Country Lutheran to a 22-4 record and earned honorable mention all-Midwest Classic Conference laurels after averaging 12.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He also led the team with 42 made triples, shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.

One of the more pleasant surprises of The Rock Spring Classic was the play of Wesley for the Chapman North Elite 16U. He performed well on both ends, using his length, aggressiveness and ability to move his feet to disrupt things for opponents. He had a couple of steals and layups for CBA in its loss to [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane'], and also scored well in the half court with his ability to make mid-range jumpers or get all the way to the basket. The second-team all-Woodland East Conference performer had a strong sophomore season for coach Chris Robinson at Shorewood, averaging 15.5 points and 4.6 rebounds for the Greyhounds. He teams with senior [player_tooltip player_id='1561931' first='Jake' last='Sherman'] to give Shorewood a solid returning backcourt for the 2025-26 season.

Shawn had it clicking for [program_tooltip program_id='2076501' first='Chapman' last='Basketball Academy'] North Elite during its game with [program_tooltip program_id='2496167' first='Pro' last='Lane'], particularly in the first half when he scored 15 points. He made shots from outside the three-point arc, finished twisting moves to the basket and got some points in transition as well for his team. The 6-foot-1 wing will be counted upon to play a big role for Grafton next season after coming off the bench for the Black Hawks as a sophomore.

The more you watch Evans, the more you like him. First off, he's a massive young player at 6-foot-8 and possessing a strong build. He gives great effort on every possession on both ends of the court. And he is beginning to be a go-to option in the paint for [program_tooltip program_id='2517147' first='Wisconsin' last='Breakaway'] thanks to his size and ability to score off the glass. He still fumbles the ball a bit, but he's improving in that area as well. Defensively, Evans is a shot blocker and solid rebounder. He figures to be one of the premier frontline players in the Badger Small Conference for Fort Atkinson in 2025-26, and he's improving by the weekend for a very good [program_tooltip program_id='2517147' first='Wisconsin' last='Breakaway'] 16U outfit.

Wegmann's scoring in the paint and from mid range were instrumental in [program_tooltip program_id='2148484' first='DCBA' last='']'s triumph as he put up several points in the OT session. A good athlete with size and skill, Wegmann can attack a defense from different spots on the floor and then utilize his height and athleticism to score. He competes with lots of energy on the glass, and he is constantly pushing himself to make plays on both ends of the floor.

What Wedewer might lack in size, he makes up for with skill and a deadly outside shot. His compact shooting motion was on display for [program_tooltip program_id='2148484' first='DCBA' last=''] in its OT win over [program_tooltip program_id='2517147' first='Wisconsin' last='Breakaway'] as he buried a 25-foot, top-of-the key jumper without blinking an eye at a crucial point in the contest. And then with the game hanging in the balance, Wedewer stepped to the foul line and calmly swished his foul shots. He is a player with tons of confidence, which stems from his work in the practice gym making shot after shot after shot.
