On the Radar Carolina Mania: 2027 Performers

Fabian is highly effective being that high motor guy around the rim providing putbacks on the glass. He was able to fill the lane in transition and really the ball from around the paint area. Fabian attends Byrnes HS. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2825162' first='Miles' last='Campbell']</strong> had a strong showing in the opening game where he dropped 20 points in a win. Campbell who attends Easley HS has good length and a long and rangy frame. Jonah was able to showcase some crafty passing skills at times today. He was able to drop the old school bounce pass to teammates racing to the cup. He makes up for that with his confidence on the floor. Tyriek a left-handed scoring guard likes to play fast from end to end on the floor. He really showcased his ability to score the ball from all 3 levels at times. Tyriek is a bit a pest on the defensive end of the floor at times with his quick hands. He looks to use ball-screens and tends to get shifty with the ball in his hands. The offensive minded Jones really showcased a nice mid-range jumper here today.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Will Haunert </strong>plays at Camden HS also with Jones. Haunert played well today around the bucket with constant effort and just blue-collar putbacks on the glass. He collected a lot of loose change here today for the [program_tooltip program_id='2412982' first='Upward' last='Stars Pee Dee'] 16U squad. Haunert plays TE/DE on the Bulldogs football in the fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] 16U</em></strong>: </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2149144' first='Terrion' last='Mack']</strong> saw plenty of playing time this season at Blythewood HS for Head Coach Zeke Washington. Mack a quick minded and shifty point guard was able to race to the cup all day long for his squad. Terrion can change directions and speeds while racing to the gaps and touching the paint. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2887395' first='Ford' last='Stratton']</strong> was certainly a new name for the database. Veal was able to rebound the ball on ends of the court today. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2449207' first='Avery' last='Georgiana-Richardson'] </strong>just brings hustle at all times while on the floor. He was really takes pride in playing defense and getting after loose balls on the deck.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars 3SSB'] 16U</em></strong>: </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The [program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars 3SSB'] 16U consist of a lot of strong guard and perimeter play. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1487225' first='Desmond' last='Harrington']</strong> looks to be one of the only true post-forwards on this squad. Johnson and Fowler both ranked in the Top 5 in the 2026 Palmetto State Class and Ray provide a solid three-headed monster in the backcourt. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2450993' first='Aaden' last='Bruton-Smith'] </strong>was dropping three balls from the corner here today. Leonard is a member of the 2027 Palmetto State Class. Josh the #1 player in the Class helped his squad to a victory over the Charlotte Aces this coming. He brings a very good skill set to the table and a nose for the ball every time. Josh brings versatility to play and defend all over the floor. He will handle the rock up the floor, finish drives with ease at the bucket from both sides of the rim.
