Avery caught fire in the second half of the matchup with Team Crews, playing up in the 17U Division. He started the game strong with a poster dunk and a turnaround jumper in the middle of a zone. Later, he converted on a couple of floaters, got to the rim frequently, and knocked down three threes. But it wasn’t just on the offensive end where Avery stood out. He showed flashes of tremendous on-ball defense making life very difficult for his opponents. Georgiana-Richardson racked up 23 points, 2 blocks, and 2 steals in the win.

Avery really plays the game to fullest at all times while on the floor. He plays with a motor that never seems to end. He can get to the rack or simply pull-up with a nice mid-range jumper at times. He plays active in the passing lanes. Avery will get plenty of minutes this season on the Bearcats roster.
