Few PIAA 4A Prospects to Watch

These are a few prospects to watch in the in the PIAA 4A State tournament that begins Friday night.    Wamsley is a versatile forward who can impact the game in all facets. He does a good job on the glass and uses his length to contest shots. He has always shown promise putting the ball on the deck and getting to different spots. One of Wamsley's best skills is his playmaking and thrives finding others in different spots on the floor for them to convert offensive chances.     Moore is a bucket getter who finds an abundance of points in a variety of ways, He makes a living getting downhill. Moore shows promise scoring the ball from all three levels. He has good chemistry with his teammates and can get the ball inside to his post players. He has always found ways to get to the foul line. Moore shows some promise from behind the arc.     Doherty is an elite sniper who leaves his mark on the game from behind the arc. I have seen Doherty score from another zip code at times. He finds ways to come up with steals. Doherty has some ability to play on the ball and find others in the flow off the game. He can also find a way to score in transition. Doherty is tracking as a scholarship prospect.     Carmichael does a really good job navigating to different spots on the floor with his strength of will. He has good touch around the bucket and has an array of different finishes inside. He shows some flashes from behind the arc but could become more efficient from deep. He is able to play at different gears and has a good pulse on the game. Carmichael has no issues finding others for scoring chances.     Arp is a well-balanced guard who does a little bit of everything with his game. He is a threat to make shots from behind the arc. Arp does a good job of filling the lane in transition. He can score around the bucket. Arp puts self in good spots to get rebounds. He has good size for the lead guard spot. He uses is blend of quickness and athleticism to cover ground on the defensive end. He is one of the better freshman in the state.     Vigo is a vertical athlete who thrives getting paint touches when attacking downhill. He is a threat to catch lobs as a slasher and really knows when to show off his his physical tools. Vigo is a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions. He is becoming better from behind the three point line. He shows flashes of getting others involved in the flow of the game. He is getting recruited by division 2 programs and would be a great pickup of for a postgraduate program who needs an alpha guard.     Fredericks does a good job seeing the floor and finding open shooters who are located in different spots on the floor. He is able to turn defense to offense by being in passing lanes. He is a really smart player and knows how to play. He takes what the defense gives Fredericks can hit shots from three playing off the ball. He finds ways to stuff the stat sheet.     McKoy is a well-built utility guard who plays on or off the ball. He does a good job articulating to different spots off the bounce and has good touch around the rim. McKoy uses his strength to will his way by defenders. He can hit tough shots inside the two point line. He also shows that he can score off the bounce from three. He doesn't get sped up and can play out of ball screens effortlessly. McKoy is primed for a big spring and summer.     Sallie is a scoring guard who finds different ways to score the basketball. He has the ability to score from three off the catch and has converted some of these shots from an extended range. Sallie uses his length to get rebounds and steals. He is also able to think the game with his ability to move the ball.
