Brewster traveled to Tilton on Monday, February 24th and walked away with a 99-51 win. Although Tilton hung in there for a lot of the first half, they got blown out in the second half by perhaps the best high school basketball team in the entire country.

Brewster has a plethora of high-major recruits and plays the game the right way. Really special team.

Here are my standouts from their win against Tilton.

Wilkins' combination of physical tools and athleticism is something very few players throughout the country possess. He's 6-foot-8 and very strong, but he moves up and down the court like a guard; he's shifty with his handle and has the sort of agility and quickness you see in smaller guards. On multiple occasions, he got well above the rim for dunks and showcased how lethal he can be as an off-ball cutter and slasher. His shot is still coming along, but the junior has a long time to figure that out, and his free-throws – which are often a good indicator of shooting potential – look pretty good. High major player who could reach any level he wants to with the right mindset.

When I first scouted Okorie at the NEPSAC Showcase this past summer, it was his end-to-end speed, quickness and finishing ability that stood out. Even though he's only 6-foot-1, the senior guard is a ridiculous athlete and has an insane finishing bag. But against Tilton on Monday, Okorie impressed me with his shooting and defense. He made a bunch of shots from the perimeter and looks like he has an improved shot, which will be big for him at Stanford next year. He also gets low in a stance and has super active hands, making him a nightmare to dribble against. He should be able to get minutes right away.

Pemberton is the definition of a true point guard. While surrounded by a host of great scorers on Brewster, he excels in his role as a facilitator and floor general. The sophomore guard is lightning-quick with an excellent handle and SUPERB vision; he threw multiple big-time no-look passes against Tilton and always has his head up to scan the floor while in transition. He also knocked down a few threes – which looked very pretty – and skied for a ridiculous dunk in the half court late in the game. Pemberton could be another high-major guy, especially if he continues to grow and get stronger, which he has multiple years to do. Unbelievable player.

Fowler's combination of size and shooting ability is quite impressive. He's probably the best shooter 6-foot-8 or above in the region, and he might even have a case for shooting better than lots of the guards. He has an amazing base on all his shots – balanced and consistent – and a beautiful-looking release with his upper body. Unlike most bigger shooters, he's actually able to run off screens and shoot on the move, which reminds me a bit of Cam Johnson. His size also allows him to guard some forwards and centers. Fowler could improve his creation game and handle, but he'll walk right into a shooter role on James Madison next season.

This was the first time I had ever seen Walters play, and boy was I impressed. The 6-foot-7 wing is only a sophomore but is a lot more comfortable in his body than most big wings that age. He moves fluidly up and down the court and has a nice handle and three-point shot for his size. His body also looks like it has some maturing to do and I could imagine him looking a lot different physically in a couple of years. Walters also showcased some solid passing chops and a good understanding of how the ball should move. The Alabama native is being looked at by high major schools, and I don't blame them.
