We have been dealing with some serious winter weather here this week in Indiana. There are several games postponed this evening, especially in the southern part of the state, so be sure to stay up-to-date with the schedule, but here are the five best games to follow that are at least currently still on for Tuesday evening. Then, tomorrow evening, Prep Hoops Indiana plans to have boots on the ground coverage from the Madison County Tournament semifinals.

Brownsburg @ Avon

A classic Hendricks County rivalry will pit these two teams together for the second time this season. Avon won the first meeting 70-57 back on December 20th. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1565984' first='Keriawn' last='Berry'] leads the Orioles in scoring at 14.9 points per game while [player_tooltip player_id='1561685' first='Jedidiah' last='Minnett'] adds 13.1 points per game. Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1539455' first='DeAndre' last='Lott-Hancock'] has had an excellent season as well averaging 12.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. [player_tooltip player_id='1539997' first='Kendrick' last='Dunmore'], a 6'6" senior center, is one to continue to watch for Avon as well. Meanwhile, Brownsburg has won three straight games to improve to 4-5 on the season. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2053666' first='Michael' last='Addison'] leads the way with 11.1 points per game while his junior brother [player_tooltip player_id='1561114' first='Brandon' last='Addison'] adds 10.9 points per game. 6'7" senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1539507' first='Jesiah' last='Sloss'] is also in double-figures at 10.3 points per game.

Hamilton Southeastern @ North Central

The Panthers have rattled off four straight wins after a brutal early season schedule got them off to a tough 1-4 start. Senior guards [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Papi' last='Rivera'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297098' first='Nijah' last='Jewell'] lead the way for North Central's dynamic backcourt as they play host this evening to a 6-5 Hamilton Southeastern team. The Royals had a great trip to the Homestead Tournament where they went 3-1 defeating Valparaiso, Carroll (Fort Wayne), and Penn while only losing by three points to South Bend St. Joseph. Overall HSE has been very competitive, even in their losses, against many of the best teams in the state. Senior guard Braden Totten and junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561009' first='Luke' last='Weemer'] are the players to watch for the Royals.

Lapel @ Pendleton Heights

The Madison County Tournament will get underway this evening with four quarterfinal games taking place at different home venues. Then, on Wednesday evening, the semifinal matchups will take place back-to-back under one roof (with Prep Hoops Indiana in attendance). Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560972' first='Cooper' last='Sims'] has had a breakout season for the Arabians averaging 20.0 points per game while shooting 43.8% from beyond the arc. Pendleton Heights is 3-5 on the season. Lapel, who lost 71-64 to the Arabians back on December 6th, is led by [player_tooltip player_id='1381459' first='Brode' last='Judge'] who averages 15.5 points per game while twin brother [player_tooltip player_id='1530978' first='Bode' last='Judge'] contributes 12.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. This rematch should be an interesting one this evening.

Noblesville @ Pike

Both of these programs have faced their share of ups and downs already this season. Noblesville picked up big wins on back-to-back nights over Carmel and Jeffersonville. However, they have since lost to Westfield, Brebeuf Jesuit, and Warren Central. None of those are bad losses by any means, but the Millers were unable to keep the positive momentum rolling. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'] continues to have a strong season as does fellow junior [player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker']. The Millers are currently 6-4 on the season. As for Pike, their season has been even more of a clear dichotomy. They opened their season 4-0 which included a win over Jeffersonville, but have lost four straight since to fall to 4-4. Again, none of them have been bad losses, but Coach Teague's squad has come back to Earth a little bit. Losing [player_tooltip player_id='1297011' first='Damon' last='Howard'] to a broken shoulder certainly hurt, but superstar sophomores [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] continue to shine for the Red Devils.

South Bend St. Joseph @ Jimtown

For fans up in northern Indiana this will be the game to venture out to. South Bend St. Joseph, ranked #3 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A Poll, is off to a 9-1 start to the season led by a super talented quartet of [player_tooltip player_id='1297002' first='Chase' last='Konieczny'], [player_tooltip player_id='2024513' first='Nick' last='Shrewsberry'], [player_tooltip player_id='1560973' first='Ethan' last='Roseman'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2140359' first='Elijah' last='King']. The Huskies were 9-0 before dropping one at the Homestead Tournament to Zionsville. They will look to get back on track against a 5-3 Jimtown squad led by Olivet Nazarene signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297022' first='Dylan' last='Fey'] and 6'7" senior big man [player_tooltip player_id='2391222' first='Branden' last='King']. The Jimmies were 5-0, but have lost three straight to NorthWood, Fairfield, and South Bend Riley. Their schedule certainly doesn't get any easier with facing SBSJ this evening.
