Deandre Lott can shoot the corner three, be a ball hawk on ball, protect the rim as the low man off ball and can put the ball on the floor. Lott is a high energy guy who competes every second hes out there and does so much to impact winning.

AIA won the game of the day in a thrilling contest that saw Lott hit the game-winning bucket with 13 seconds left on an and-1 layup. Lott played with confidence as a hard left-hand driver and used jab steps and spin moves to get back to his preferred hand to finish. Solid athlete with a quick first step, Lott wanted to get downhill and more often than not was able to generate paint touches off the dribble. Impressive versatile wing athlete who made some big plays late in the win.

The Avon Orioles are having one of the better years out of any school in the state and a big reason to that is because of senior forward DeAndre Lott-Hancock DeAndre Lott-Hancock 6'5" | SF Avon | 2025 State IN . The 6-foot-5 forward has been pretty versatile this season with his strong work in the paint while also showing his improved jumper 15ft and out from time to time. For Avon, he is averaging 12.2 points on 53% shooting whole also adding 8.1 rebounds as well. No reported offers on social media however, this guy can play at multiple levels in college.

For me, DeAndre Lott-Hancock DeAndre Lott-Hancock 6'5" | SF Avon | 2025 State IN was the player of the game for Avon. While the Orioles never really could get themselves fully, Lott-Hancock put the team on his back a lot of times it felt like. Made plays with his strong fame around the rim and hit a couple of tough jumpers. Thought his defense was strong, as well. Strong showing in the Avon loss.

Avon has officially put the state of Indiana on notice. The Orioles are off to a school-record 13-1 start following a second straight Hendricks County Tournament title and a 76-46 win over Mt. Vernon (Fortville) on Friday. Senior forward Lott-Hancock posted a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds in that victory.

My Quick Thoughts: a player that has really started to come into his own is Avon’s DeAndre Lott. He may be the most athletic wing in the 2025 class in the state and constant improvements a basketball player has been fun to watch. It will not be too long before those offers pour in.
