<p>One of the bigger rosters within the 5A level, Evergreen's depth is aided by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1532003' first='Rob' last='Beldock']. Bringing a low center of gravity and the strength to guard up as needed, he holds his own down low as needed. Comfortable spacing the floor or attacking closeouts, he does well leveraging his physical tools based on the situation. Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2758615' first='Eli' last='Beeson'] has strung this group together, effectively making the right reads while attacking the paint or while in transition. Comfortable drawing in defenses to set up their array of frontcourt threats such as brothers [player_tooltip player_id='1767468' first='Lukas' last='McCanna'] (2025) and [player_tooltip player_id='2120954' first='Logan' last='McCanna'] (2027). McCanna is an intriguing backcup big for this group at 6'8 or so, already as their third most productive rebounder on low minutes comparatively to the others. The final cog to round out their depth is shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2758632' first='Roby' last='Mitchem'], a fearless shooter from distance who keeps defenses honest. Cannot forget wing [player_tooltip player_id='1665056' first='Drew' last='Yager'] either, who is a switchable defender and capable downhill scorer as needed. </p>

<p>Dakota Ridge remains one of the top teams in 5A, bringing along notable depth among backcourt and wing roles. [player_tooltip player_id='1563222' first='Cody' last='Rominger'] has been imperative toward maintaining physicality in the paint, a dependable rebounder when needed. As well as finishing around the basket, he looks to pressure the rim off of cuts the vast majority of the time. Flanked by high motor perimeter defenders in [player_tooltip player_id='2550787' first='Caiden' last='Dixon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1577094' first='Alijah' last='Sawyer'], those guards are at their best in transition, often converting steals through their attention to detail in passing lanes or the point of attack. An x-factor within their depth chart is 6'4 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2228461' first='Nick' last='Hubert'], bringing shotmaking upside and the length to be a legitimate help side defender. </p>

<p>A large part of Golden's success is their willingness to play together, comfortable sharing the ball in the halfcourt. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2758622' first='Dylan' last='Paulson'] is an excellent passer for this group, comfortable threading the needle through multiple defenders as needed. Often setting up teammates thanks to his rim pressure and tight handle one on one. [player_tooltip player_id='2758619' first='Charlie' last='Lasell'] has been another capable playmaker for this group, effectively running pick and roll or kicking out the ball on time for shotmakers. [player_tooltip player_id='2758623' first='Aidan' last='Owens'] is a comfortable driver, bringing a dependable floater once incoming help is late. The final name within the depth chart is sophomore forward [player_tooltip player_id='2496097' first='Zach' last='Orser'], a serviceable pop or roll option, at his best while off the ball at this stage. </p>

<p>Standley Lake is led by a three headed monster of guards [player_tooltip player_id='1435845' first='Derrek' last='Sims'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2422516' first='Titus' last='Schrecengost'], both bringing shotmaking value from distance or the mid-range. Sims has been a frequent cover on this site, bringing three level shotmaking abilities and clutch shotmaking at that. The most impactful defensive weapon is big man [player_tooltip player_id='2297879' first='Asher' last='Serlen'], who has been one of the most productive underclassmen bigs in the state, if not the most. </p>

<p>Guards Isaac Michael Pratt and [player_tooltip player_id='2758620' first='Benson' last='White'] have propelled Conifer early on, both bringing high motors and a willingness to be physical around the rim. This group's willingness to pressure the perimeter up high has curated plenty of steals, bringing the aggressive mindset to cause chaos in the halfcourt for opposing offenses.</p>
