I like this prospect! He was doing a little bit of everything. He was smooth with the rock and gave us a couple of high-lights dunks off of the break. He is an uncommitted 2025, who is listed at 6’2″, and during the contest he was definitely able to show case his athleticism.

Sims remains a dependable shotmaker for Hard2Guard, excellent off the catch or while attacking the rim with a head of steam. He controlled a large offensive load all weekend, routinely contributing off the dribble shot attempts. Defensively, Sims has a nose for the ball, adept at securing defensive rebounds to immediately push the pace.

Sims is a competitor every possession, staying active vying for rebounds on either end. They work hard on or off-ball, actively getting into scoring positions off of cuts. Most effective at receiving the ball with momentum, Sims is a wiry downhill scorer who can leverage his strength and craft to create space for jumpers on such drives. Behind the arc, the guards remain a threat off the catch, repeatedly showcasing value throughout spring events.

Sims is a player on offense that is great from midrange and in. Sims is not a player that forces the action, he will look for the open man and take the best shot available. Sims is lethal from the top of the key and will make you pay if you leave him open. On the defensive end Sims sags off and plays the passing lane waiting for his opportunity to knock the ball out and get into the fast break on quick transitions. Sims is averaging 2.1 steals per game while also having a block per game as well. Sims shows the ability to get after it on both ends of the court and can be a scorer when he gets the opportunity. Sims plays good defense in the paint and can affect shots even against the taller players in the paint. Shows nice ball handling ability when he is on the break or driving to the basket creating contact.
