Titus has the stats and consistency over the years to be deemed as one of the top PG’s in the state, but if you were to ask people about it who are not truly tapped in, he wouldn’t be a name that just comes to the top of their minds, and that should be a problem for him that he wants to fix. The thing is, we haven’t seen enough of Titus, and we certainly haven’t seen enough of him in the free-flowing, go make a play and get out and compete kind of game that I truly believe that he would be best at. He’s a high-IQ guard who pushes the pace. Gets teammates involved, scores when he has to, and makes plays defensively, and that stands out in a showcase for sure. This could be a great opportunity to measure himself against some of the top guards in the state in preparation of a highly anticipated season for him. I’d advise him to get out and show what he’s made of. 

Schrecengost has been the definition of consistency at Standley Lake, and now the spotlight is bright for him as the Gators’ veteran leader. With three years of varsity experience, he enters his senior season ready to take another leap after averaging 11.0 points, 6.1 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 steals per game. He is a high IQ guard who makes everything click offensively, controls the tempo and constantly puts teammates in positions to succeed. Add in his ability to score at all three levels, and he is one of the more complete guards in the class. The biggest area to watch is his three point shooting. If that percentage climbs, expect Schrecengost to become one of the state’s toughest guards to defend and a major riser this season

Titus is one of the top PG sin 5A that still somehow seems to be a bit under the radar. With a solid season, he could be a 1,000-point scorer, he could finish with 500 career assists, and have 300 steals to go along with it. This could be a big senior season for him. Titus is one of the few true PG’s in the state who passes teammates into open spots. He dissects the defense with his passes and gets into the sweet spots of zones and feeds the hot man. Titus handles pressure well, takes care of the ball, and he outplays almost every team’s best guard in every matchup. He helped lead Standley Lake to a 15-9 overall record and won their conference.  He filled up the statsheet as a junior, averaging 11 points, 6 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.8 steals to go along with it. That’s one of the most balanced lines of any player in the state, and maybe this is the year that it all catches up. Get eyes on this under-the-radar standout. 

Titus Schrengost is one of the most poised lead guards in the state and the engine that keeps everything steady for Standley Lake, and he’s a bit underrated with what he’s been. He’s been a consistent presence throughout his career, and this season he’s averaging 10.8 points while ranking among conference assist leaders at 6.1 per game. Defensively, he’s a menace with 3.8 steals, which is among the top in the conference. He’s a true glue guy who organizes, defends, and holds the group together during big moments, and there will be many more of those moments. He deserves some love.

Schrecengost showcases that he does everything. He scores, rebounds, distributes, defends, and does it at a high level. With his relentless motor, he’s already proven he can produce. Now, it’s time to show he can run the show against the top guards in the state. The showcase gives him that chance to lock in, lead, and put his name in the conversation as one of the most complete guards in the class, no matter the setting.

Standley Lake was one of the surprise teams last year that took the state by storm. They had a complete team with a star big man and stellar guard play. Amongst those guards was true point guard Titus. Titus put up an impressive 12.1 points and 4.6 assists a game. He pushed the pace, found open teammates, and played unselfishly all year. When his team needed a timely basket, he delivered, and when they needed him to make the right plays, he did just that. He also got after it defensively as he put up 3.6 steals a game, which was amongst the top averages in the state. He plays hard on both ends, battles, and is a leader on the floor, and they will need more of that this upcoming season as well. He was at 51 this last go round and jumps more than 10 spots.

Schrecengost has been influential shooting and faciliating for this Standley Lake team, bringing all the tools to fill holes as needed in their halfcourt offense. Comfortable handling pressure to set up their variety of perimeter or interior shotmakers, his continued success in face of difficult perimeter defenses will be important for maintaining the offensive success. 

Schrecengost has taken on the lead guard responsibilities early on, not to mention while providing steady perimeter shooting to round out this group’s offensive growth. Influential in setting up their frontcourt scoring threat off the roll or through deep entry passes, the guard is a high floor perimeter playmaker that is quickly becoming a must follow within the class. 

Schrecengost continues to provide efficient shooting, smart decision making, and high energy defense along the perimeter. Playing a valuable role for Standley Lake’s success through their season, the guard has taken the lead guard role in stride. He has been among the most efficient sophomore shooters in this class, at 44% from distance, further opening up driving lanes or opportunities for entry passes within the halfcourt.
