<p>The Cougars of Bloomington North earned seventh place in the 2025 Fishers Holiday Classic with a 63-53 victory over South Dearborn. With senior [player_tooltip player_id='1749527' first='Luke' last='Lindeman'] out with an injury sustained yesterday, and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2381200' first='Levi' last='Lindeman'] going down during the game as well, sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140349' first='Derrick' last='Cross Jr'] put the team on his back scoring 24 points to lead the way. He shot the ball very well from beyond the arc. Fellow sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2807637' first='Tyler' last='Christian'] finished with 21 points in the loss for South Dearborn.</p>

<p>Wisconsin Football commit [player_tooltip player_id='1539288' first='Nizyi' last='Davis'] broke out on the hardwood on Friday afternoon and led Lawrence Central to a 77-60 victory Evansville Bosse to finish fifth place in the 2025 Fishers Holiday Classic. The 6'7" Davis finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds while junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561118' first='Doron' last='Harris'] added 13 points for the Bears. [player_tooltip player_id='2053669' first='Tizaun' last='Tomlinson'] went off for 30 points in the loss for Evansville Bosse.</p>

<p>Portage and Chesterton, two Duneland Conference rivals, battled it out in the 2025 Fishers Holiday Classic third place game. The two teams traded leads back and forth through the first three quarters, but the Indians eventually pulled away down the stretch to capture the 55-44 victory. Grace signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297094' first='Michael' last='Wellman'] scored 14 points while his brother, Bethel bound Sam Wellman added 11 points for Portage. Both [player_tooltip player_id='1989437' first='Logan' last='Pokorney'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2125696' first='Malachi' last='Ransom'] scored 14 points in the loss for Chesterton.</p>

<p>You won't find a higher level high school basketball game than what fans witnessed at Fishers High School to cap-off an excellent 2025 Fishers Holiday Classic. The host Tigers jumped out to an early advantage doing what they do best. Forced turnovers led to transition baskets and they got up on Wayne 28-18 in the opening quarter. However, the Generals settled in and made Fishers fight for 32 minutes. [player_tooltip player_id='1297001' first='Chase' last='Barnes'] got himself going, [player_tooltip player_id='1297032' first='Trey' last='Dillard'] made some tough shots inside, and Wayne trailed by just our at the halftime break 35-31. [player_tooltip player_id='2267046' first='Jason' last='Gardner Jr.'] answers with a big third quarter, but it was only enough to increase the Fishers lead by one point to 50-45. Wayne actually took a lead at one point there in the third. The game remained tight into the final seconds, but ultimately the Tigers escaped with a 62-56 victory to win the 2025 Fishers Holiday Classic.</p>

Meanwhile, in the loss for Fort Wayne Wayne, University of Indianapolis signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297001' first='Chase' last='Barnes'] scored 19 points to lead all scorers.
