I am going to say it louder for the people in the back…. They are very few players in the state that can change and takeover a game like the dynamic senior guard out of Lawrence Central High School. Just this past week, he put up a 32 point game outing which was arguably the best performance out of the entire weekend. Coaches at all levels need to be looking into Harris because you could get a steal out of him. Harris will be in action this week when the Bears travel to Park Tudor (1/7) and vs Hamilton Southeastern (1/9).

To put it as simply as possible, there was not a better overall player performance during the first round of the Fishers Tournament than what Doron Harris Doron Harris 5'10" | PG Lawrence Central | 2026 State IN did. In a tough loss to New Albany, Harris put up a game-high 32 points, scoring in every way possible. The most impressive part of his 32 points was his clutch three-point shooting down the stretch, which always kept Lawrence Central in the game as they looked to get the lead back. Harris remains one of the most underrated guards in the whole state.

Even though he comes off the bench for a very loaded Lawrence Central team, Doron Harris Doron Harris 5'10" | PG Lawrence Central | 2026 State IN can always make a case as one of the most important players for the Bears in the backcourt. Watching him vs Franklin Central this past week, he once against proved that if he gets a chance to go downhill, he is going to make a defense pay. He used his elite quickness to get to the rim in a blink’s notice with multiple steals and jumpers to go with it. Harris makes plays happen.

It wouldn’t be accurate to call an All-MIC performer who was already ranked as a Top 50 prospect by Prep Hoops Indiana “under-the-radar,” but Harris is definitely someone who deserved more recognition on a statewide basis. He is one of the most explosive playmakers in the Class of 2026 and will look to lead what could be a Class 4A Top 10 Lawrence Central High School team this season. Harris jumped from #46 to #35 in our prospect rankings. It will be interesting to see where his recruitment ends up during his senior season.

In a few different events throughout the summer, I got a chance to watch Lawrence Central senior guard Doron Harris Doron Harris 5'10" | PG Lawrence Central | 2026 State IN , who easily become one of my favorite prospects very early on this AAU season. There may not be a more shifty and quicker guard on the ball than Harris. He is a blur on the floor and can easily get past defenders scoring in the lane, and even proving to be a very consistent three point scorer as well. He could carry Lawrence Central to big wins this season.
