Wednesday night’s rivalry game between Lawrence Central and Lawrence North was played at a very, very high level. You couldn’t survive on the floor without being a very good player. Wright, an under-the-radar senior guard for the Bears, scored 9 of his 11 points in the second half to give Lawrence Central a chance. The left-handed guard is very explosive getting downhill to the rim.

Indiana Elite Team Tradition was a dominant force on Sunday afternoon when we went over to watch them play at Warren Central High School. A couple of Wright’s teammates were really torching the nets, but this 6’1″ guard was very impressive in his own right. He scored 9 of his 11 points in the second half showcasing his ability to attack the basketball off of a ballscreen. Wright was consistently getting paint touches off of the bounce and found success in transition as well. He finished a handful of tough layups at the rim and did a good job of drawing fouls to get to the line as well.
