4A Section 7: Record, Rankings, and Prospect Reviews

<p>In this article we look at Class 4A Section 6 teams, their record,<a href="https://www.minnesota-scores.net/boys-sports/basketball/qrf/2024-2025/19719"> QRF rank</a> and the prospects on their respective teams.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Anoka 13-3 (9)</h2>   <p>Anoka is led by 2025 senior backcourt [player_tooltip player_id='1574226' first='Peyton' last='Podany'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1288713' first='Trey' last='Borchers'] who are at 36.2 points per game combined. You can read about them<a href="https://prephoops.com/2025/01/dynamic-duos-around-minnesota/"> here</a>.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2121367' first='Dre' last='Ellis'] - The five-foot-ten-inch Ellis caught our eyes this summer playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Ellis was dynamic at times with the ball and off. He showed his ability from the perimeter shooting, and used his quickness to get to the rim. The 2026 guard is averaging 14.2 points per game for the Tornados. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/FreshCoastHoops/status/1883167648692973882 </div></figure>   <p>Prospects of the Future: [player_tooltip player_id='2437658' first='Alpha' last='Assibu'] (2028) and Kolden Johson (2029)</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Blaine 8-7 (23)</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1874931' first='Shiloh' last='Ayitey'] - The 2026 guard is averaging 17.2 points per game for the Bengals. You can read my evaluation from earlier this year of <a href="https://prephoops.com/2024/12/minnesota-thursday-friday-night-performances/">Ayltey's game here</a>.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/shilohayitey/status/1877001203369890048 </div></figure>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2767442' first='Nanno' last='Gemta'] - Gemta is a 2025 wing that is averaging 15 points per game. Gemta has really opened the floor for the Bengals making multiple triples in multiple games this season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2435521' first='Tyler' last='Buffo'] is a 2025 guard averaging 17.6 points per game. Buffo has hit six or more 3-pointers in six games for the Bengals including 2 games where he knocked down 9. Once versus Champlin Park and another versus Owatonna. Buffo stands six-foot and really gets around the court to open areas to take shots quickly.</p>     <p>Prospect of the Future: Henry Semans (2028 on JV)</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Andover 6-10 (38)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1617679' first='Alex' last='Kopetzki'] is a 2025 senior lead guard that is averaging 17 points per game and 5.8 assists nightly. Kopetzki does well at changing speeds with the ball, can shoot from beyond the arc, and has a good pull-up game in the mid-range. His balance shooting all over the floor keeps defenders on their toes. Kopetzki is committed to Concordia St. Paul.</p>    <p>Eddie MIles is a 2026 six-foot-three-inch 250 pound forward that is a defensive end on the football field. Miles uses his size and quickness to make plays inside around the rim. He's averaging 12.7 points per game for the Huskies.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1936143' first='Caden' last='Roessler'] is a 2026 guard averaging 8.9 points per game that went for 15 points versus Centennial and 16 points versus Blaine. Roessler can make shots from the perimeter and works well off of Kopetzki to give a good target to shoot it.<br></p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2382253' first='Colton' last='Miller'] is a six-foot-seven-inch 2026 forward that is averaging 8.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Miller runs the floor well for his size, can shoot it from the perimeter a bit, and uses his length at the rim to block shots. Miller used his ability to run the floor and block a shot versus Mounds View that showed off this ability. In that same game versus Mounds View Miller dished out 7 assists showcasing his ability to facilitate.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cambridge-Isanti 7-8 (57)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Emerson Droubie is a six-foot-five-inch 2025 senior wing that is averaging 21.9 points per game and 9.6 rebounds after two monster games.Versus Big Lake Droubie recorded 41 points and 12 rebounds while versus Coon Rapids he had 34 points and 18 rebounds.  Droubie ia an active cutter on offense that gives his teammates opportunities at assists and he crashes the boards hard. His shot release looks smooth and he's growing as a ball handler.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/EmersonDroubie/status/1883270798921585096 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1874838' first='Ethan' last='Bergloff'] is a six-foot-two-inch 2026 guard who's averaging 17.9 points per game and 5.4 assists for the Bluejackets. Bergloff's size gives him a bit of advantage versus smaller guards, especially finishing over them at the basket. Bergloff shows good vision when passing and seems to really pass with intent. He also plays the game with the style that we are use to seeing from Cambridge, fast-paced and flowing.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/EthanBergloff/status/1881136461774532889 </div></figure>   <p>Jameson Epple is a six-foot-two-inch 2027 sophomore guard who's averaging 12.4 points per game. Epple is a good outside shooter you can't leave open and seems to always be a threat from the perimeter. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Centennial 8-8 (47)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1592856' first='Jackson' last='Driessen'] is a six-foot-two-inch point guard that upped his scoring average to 24.5 points per game after a 46-point outing versus Andover while making six 3-pointers. A couple weeks prior Driessen went for 35 points versus Osseo. Good shooter on pull-ups out of the catch, in transition, or spotted up as he's always a threat from distance.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1560850' first='Tristan' last='Hanson'] is a six-foot-five-inch 2026 forward averaging 16.3 points per game. Outside of scoring Hanson will give you a solid rebounder, will block a shot with his length, and will deflect a pass or two. Hanson does however show good potential as a shooter like versus Woodbury when he hit three 3-pointers scoring 30 points while grabbing 9 boards, and gathering 4 stocks (2 blocks, 2 steals). </p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Coon Rapids 5-10 (52)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1617722' first='Jaxon' last='Young'] - The 2025 six-foot-three-inch senior guard does it all on the court for the Cardinals just like he did on [program_tooltip program_id='2075693' first='MN' last='Crossfire'] Young. He's the leading scorer at 25.7 points per game. He's the leading rebounder at 8.1 rebounds per game. He's the leading man at setting up teammates with 4.7 assists per game. Young is a crafty ball handler with good passing vision while he's a very talented outside shooter.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1879703318588686658 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2402639' first='Taigan' last='Plowman-Tate'] is a 2025 six-foot-three-inch wing who's averaging 17.9 points per game. TPT is a talented outside shooter that has really shown he's not done getting better and plays really well in a high-paced offense. TPT is a long, good athlete. He projects well as a 3&D type player.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Duluth East 5-11 (59)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1560767' first='Ty' last='Nyberg'] is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2026 guard that can make 3-pointers in bunches like when he made six 3-pointers versus Rock Ridge.  Nyberg has shown he can play both on the ball and off, and even in a game where he hits six triples he still dished out 9 assists for the GreyHounds.  Versus Osseo he scored 24 points on five made 3-pointers and dished out 7 assists.</p>    <p>Prospects of the Future: [player_tooltip player_id='2833347' first='Isaac' last='Emerson'] (6'4 2028), [player_tooltip player_id='2521685' first='Tristan' last='Latimore'] (2029), and [player_tooltip player_id='2833327' first='Ty' last='Schingen']</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Forest Lake 3-13 (60)</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1560745' first='DJ' last='Westman'] is a five-foot-eleven-inch 2026 junior guard that is averaging 15.9 points per game with a season high on January 24 of 29 points versus Cretin-Derham Hall in a game he knocked down four 3-pointers. Westman is a two-sport athlete that plays basketball a lot like receiver as he's always on the move. Westman has a number of games where he's bomb away from the perimeter making multiple triples, he's a crafty guard in the paint.</p>
