Tristan put in a strong showing on Wednesday night to keep things a lot closer than many would’ve expected against a tough Osseo team. The senior wing/forward broke 1,000 career points with his first bucket of the game, and went on to finish with 28 on the night. At 6’5 he showed now problem popping out to the perimeter and draining a number of threes from the top of the key. Showed he can go to work in the paint against a 6’8 big, while also being able to find space to catch and shoot when defended by smaller wings/guards. Gritty performance from the Centennial senior.

Hanson is a 6’5 wing that had himself an impressive weekend. He brought size and versatility to the Minnesota Heat . He spaced the floor with his jumper, cleaned up on the glass, and showed off some smooth reverse finishes. Even against one of the top bigs in the country, he didn’t back down and competed and hit a couple of contested shots. He was creative around the rim and had a big-time motor all weekend. He helped carry Heat to the title game and looked like a true matchup problem all weekend.

Tristan turned in a fantastic weekend, doing a lot of great things all over the floor. Whenever he is out there, he is playing hard. He is playing intense defense, rebounding at a high level, and giving great overall effort. He is a true three level scorer, being able to use his strong 6’5” frame to attack the basket, pull up in the mid-range, or catch-and-shoot from beyond the arc. Hanson is a very well rounded prospect who has had a great spring with Minnesota Heat .
