Nyberg is a skilled and cool customer on the hardwood. However, the reason he made this article is because of his 3-point shooting. He directly impacts the game with his stroke from downtown. He fills it up in a hurry and needs little room. I have not seen Nyberg miss many, but when he does, it never affects his next shot. Every time Ty shoots, he thinks it is going in, and most of the time it does!

Ty was hitting some deep threes on Sunday against Minnesota Select . His team in general got off to a cold start, so Ty took on a bigger scoring load than I’ve seen before, connecting on a handful of shots from NBA range to put points on the board. That shot making also helped open up space for his 6’10 teammate to go to work on the block, as defenders were afraid to help off of Ty. Nyberg had some accurate post entry passes, as well as a couple of dimes out of the pick & roll to set his forwards up with quality looks at the rim.

Nyberg is a 6-foot sniper. I watched him hit 9 three-pointers in a single game earlier this season. Ty defends baseline to baseline and plays the game with his mind. He has great court vision and deep shooting range. Nyberg is underrated as a passer, look out for that part of his game this weekend.
