These are the hoopers who impact the game in meaningful ways and help elevate the players around them. Spears protected the rim, altered shots around the basket, and was outstanding on the glass all weekend long. He consistently high-pointed rebounds, attacked the ball aggressively, and was especially effective at creating extra possessions on the offensive boards. Offensively, Spears continued to show growth in his game. He finished efficiently inside, attacked closeouts well, and looked comfortable slashing to the rim. His offensive skill set seems to improve every weekend, and the confidence is clearly growing. With his physical tools, motor, and continued development, [player_tooltip player_id='2116300' first='Ahmi' last='Spears'] is absolutely a stock riser and a player to watch moving forward this club season.     Callan played great defense for The Academy UA Rise 16U. Ashton defended the opposing team's top player, no matter the position. He is now up to 6'4" and stood out as a strong guard. Callan moves his feet very well and changed the game for The Academy.     Mr. Martin was everywhere on the court, he was ubiquitous. Cole played very well offensively and lit up the scoreboard. His standout hustle play in one of the games was impressive. He sprinted 75-feet to disrupt a layup and force a miss. He changed the game on both ends of the court. Keep eyes on this Mustang as the season progresses. He is a tireless worker, a hot-shot shooter, and a skilled playmaker.     He is a mismatch at 6'6". Finn posts up for profit and shoots it at a high level from the outside. Stroschein will also take it off the bounce, put it on the floor, and get into the paint. On D, he is versatile. Finn defends 1-5 well. He impacted the game all weekend long at Battle.     He never gets out-worked! Especially so on the defensive side. Grant takes matchups personally and he plays with an edge. Toewe is also a high-level catch & shoot player.     Stoltmann made positive plays on both sides of the ball. He came up with big defensive stops in the first game of the event against MN Chill and scored the game-winning lay-up. Talk about a clutch performer!     He played solid basketball all weekend long. Leonard averaged around 17 ppg in the 4 games. He was a game-changer for the Suns while making plays all over the hardwood.     He runs with The Academy UA Rise 16U. He was lights out against a talented Pack squad from ND. Kronberg showed off his scoring ability with 24 points while hitting 5 triples in the second half.     Williams changed the game on the offensive side of the ball. He proved himself as a potent scorer. Raynard led the Suns in scoring at around 20 ppg. He led the Suns in points scored in all four games at Battle at the Lakes.     Tate was solid all weekend on the defensive end. He also rebounded and shot the ball well. He was very consistent across every level against the high competition that the team faced.     Latimore used his physical strength and body to change the game by getting downhill. Tristan was great at playing off two feet. He impacted the game in a big way on offense and defense.     He was one of the top ballers on the court at all times. Nyberg kept the team under control at all times. He balls with a high hoop IQ. He is a great defensive player who gives opposing guards a ton of trouble. He is also a top-notch shooter. Ty has unlimited shooting range.     Defensively, he was a menace! Ty was all over the court creating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chance opportunities. He made plays on O & D. Schingen's high motor kept Starks in close games, but also helped blow games open. At times, it seemed like there were 5 of Schingen's on the court!     He runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite']. The kid from the North Shore shot the ball at a high clip at Battle. Gomez drained over 55% of his 3-point shots. Zeke changed the game from beyond the arc. Beckett and Nash were tough and productive while playing up an age group. These two played solid, disciplined defense, handled full-court pressure and double teams with composure, and consistently created deflections and loose-ball opportunities.
