About Cole
Expert Analysis
Michael Herrick | Prep Hoops Scout
Mr. Martin was everywhere on the court, he was ubiquitous. Cole played very well offensively and lit up the scoreboard. His standout hustle play in one of the games was impressive. He sprinted 75-feet to disrupt a layup and force a miss. He changed the game on both ends of the court. Keep eyes on this Mustang as the season progresses. He is a tireless worker, a hot-shot shooter, and a skilled playmaker.

is one of the elite shooters in the Dakotas and a must-watch talent. After getting his feet wet on varsity this winter, he proved quickly that he belongs competing against top talent. Martin doesn’t shy away from big moments either. If the game is close this weekend, don’t be surprised if the ball finds its way into his hands. What makes Cole special is his cold-blooded shooting ability combined with his confidence and skill. He’s a hard worker whose game will only continue to improve as he develops. If he adds a couple more inches physically, college coaches could be drooling. In the meantime, expect

got his first real taste of varsity basketball at the Class AA level this past season, and it didn’t take long to see why he’s considered the #3 ranked prospect. He’s the real deal and already showing signs of being a high-level player with a very bright future. A lights-out shooter, Martin proved he can step up in big moments, knocking down clutch shots during the high school season. Beyond his shooting ability, he’s dedicated to his craft and continues to put in the work to elevate his game. For such a young player, his confidence and skill set stand out, making him a name college scouts should start tracking now. As he heads into the club season, expect Martin to take another step forward and solidify himself as one of the top players to watch moving ahead.
