Ahmi was a game-changer this weekend because of the way he controlled the paint with his length, activity, and toughness. Spears protected the rim, altered shots around the basket, and was outstanding on the glass all weekend long. He consistently high-pointed rebounds, attacked the ball aggressively, and was especially effective at creating extra possessions on the offensive boards. Offensively, Spears continued to show growth in his game. He finished efficiently inside, attacked closeouts well, and looked comfortable slashing to the rim. His offensive skill set seems to improve every weekend, and the confidence is clearly growing. With his physical tools, motor, and continued development, Ahmi Spears Ahmi Spears 6'8" | PF Century | 2027 State ND is absolutely a stock riser and a player to watch moving forward this club season.

“ Ahmi Spears Ahmi Spears 6'8" | PF Century | 2027 State ND is a 6’9” switchable athlete. Plays above the rim. He has a decent outside shot and back-to-the-basket game. His best days are absolutely ahead of him as he has started to master his own body and grow his confidence.“

First thing that stands out with Ahmi is his size and length. He didn’t see a ton of varsity minutes for the State Champion Patriots, but the tools are there for him to make a name for himself in a hurry. He’s expected to step into a much bigger role next winter, but in the meantime, PHD is eager to see him break out on the club circuit with ND Phenom . Spears is an intriguing prospect—he’s a mobile defender who runs the floor effortlessly, protects the rim, and rebounds at a high level. Offensively, he can space the floor and knock down the three, giving him valuable versatility. Length and shooting always turn heads, and Ahmi brings both, along with strong switchability in ball-screen defense—another trait college coaches covet. Is he ready to blow up? PHD believes he is.

This Patriot has loads of potential with his 6’8″ length and never-ending arms. Spears will space the floor, drag defenders out of the paint, and cash in the triple. I witnessed this from the GPA film. This should catch the eyes of some scouts; everyone likes 3-shooters these days. Expect Ahmi to grab O-boards for extra possessions and alter shots around the paint. Does he score in the paint and how does he move laterally?

-You have to love his length, his size if a game-changer
