It’s easy to see why Dre is graduating as the #6 all time scorer at Anoka. The senior guard has deep range and no shortage of confidence in his shot. Leave him in any amount of space out on the three point line, and Dre can put up points in a hurry. His quick release helps him knock down shots off the catch or dribble before a defender can close him down. Despite being able to score at will, Dre was unselfish on Tuesday night, and was looking to get his teammates involved in half-court and in transition.

was on fire on Saturday night, keeping Anoka in it until the very end against Mahtomedi. The 2026 guard showed his quick release from beyond the arc, draining a number of threes before his defender could even react. Showed good body control to hang in the air for some difficult finishes as well. He showed he’s capable of taking a game over at any given moment.
Ellis is a 6’0″ guard who scores it at three levels. Once Dre walks onto the court, he fills up the stat sheet quickly. He has one of the quickest triggers in the state of Minnesota. If if forget about Ellis, you will pay 3-points every time!

had a big game in a win for Starks Elite
on Saturday. The Anoka guard put up 22 points on just 11 shot attempts, draining five threes in the process. He has a quick trigger, and if he catches in space he has no shortage of confidence to take the three and connect at a high percentage. Dre has done a nice job of developing into more than just a three point threat, as he has a quick first step to blow by a closeout and get to the rim. Fearless attacking the basket and going up to finish against size. Really broke out as a junior last season at Anoka, and should be in for a big senior year.
Dre continues to impress this spring with Starks Elite
. Against Racine Truth
he did a nice job of pushing the tempo in transition, able to create some easy buckets for his teammates. He always had his eyes scanning the floor, and was throwing it ahead to sprinting teammates for easy lay-ups. In the half-court he was stretching the floor with his outside shooting, showing a quick release off the catch to beat the closeout. Someone who has to be accounted for at all times off the ball as he can make you pay for letting him catch in space.

had a monster first half helping lead Starks Elite
past Power Circle. The Anoka guard put up 8 points within the opening 3-4 minutes of play, and didn’t slow down much after that. He showed the signature quick release from beyond the arc that forced defenders to defend him tight out on the perimeter, but also showed continued improvements off the dribble. Dre does a nice job now of attacking bad closeouts, showcasing a quick first step to blow past guys to get to the rim. Quick burst to get off the floor and finish before a help-side defender can react.
