They have yet to lose a game and Alseth's role is a key part of that. He has been scoring the ball very well, almost dropping 20 a game. He fills the stat sheet nightly too, always crashing the boards and finding open teammates for them to get easy buckets. He jumps out of the gym and isn't afraid to put anyone on a poster who is in his way. Trotenya has been scoring the ball well at all three levels, dropping over 20-25 a night. His handles are elite and he does a phenomenal job at getting to his spots. Showki steps up when Sammamish needs him, being one of the clutchest players during the high school season so far. He defends just as good as he can score, stepping up and guarding the opposing teams best player nightly. He scores well from all 3 levels, being able to light it up from deep if defenders leave him open for a split second. He is just an overall tough, gritty guard who knows how to play his way and control the pace of the game for his style of play. He does a fantastic job at positioning himself deep in the paint, getting open for an easy entry pass. His soft touch around the rim has been apparent all year.
