We are less than 24 hours away from the tip-off of one of the best single day events of the year. The Sneakers for Santa Shootout will feature six great games at Brownsburg High School on Saturday. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage, as always, throughout the day of that event. However, there is also a full slate of games here on Friday night. We will be at Carmel to watch them take on Lawrence Central. Here is a preview of the five best games to watch this evening.

Fishers @ Noblesville

There was a semi-controversial call at the end of last season's Sectional 8 Championship game when these two teams matched up at Noblesville. The Millers haven't forgotten about coming up just a possession short of knocking off Fishers who went on to win the Class 4A State Championship. Now, the Tigers remain #1 in the Class 4A while Noblesville sits at #6 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10. [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'] versus [player_tooltip player_id='1297069' first='Justin' last='Kirby']. [player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1428862' first='TJ' last='Davidson'] versus [player_tooltip player_id='2267046' first='Jason' last='Gardner Jr.'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary']. There will be plenty of firepower on both sides in this matchup. Fishers probably has more overall pieces, but it is never easy to beat Noblesville. Both of these teams currently sit at 2-0.

Lawrence Central @ Carmel

Watching Indiana Junior All-Star candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'] battle with sophomore standout [player_tooltip player_id='2266897' first='Kenneth' last='Lampley'] will be worth the price of admission in this one. Then, you get [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'], one of the best freshmen in the state of Indiana along with Carmel's [player_tooltip player_id='1296972' first='Alex' last='Couto'] who is signed to play at Huntington. The Greyhounds are currently ranked #8 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10. Lawrence Central has a good deal of talent and could make it tough on Carmel with their firepower. However, it is hard to ever pick against Coach Osborn and company. They are a well-oiled machine.

New Albany @ Evansville Harrison

This will be the game to watch tonight down in the Pocket City. 6'3" senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297123' first='Jay' last='Summitt'] opened the season with 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 steals in a win over Floyd Central. Senior point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1297113' first='Shane' last='Sims'], who was an Indiana Junior All-Star last season, added 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Those two will battle against New Albany's senior duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2391235' first='Rylan' last='Schrink'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2276379' first='Chris' last='Lampkins'] along with super star freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'].

Valparaiso @ East Chicago Central

If Valpo's Indiana All-Star candidate hadn't left for La Lumiere this one would have been even more fun. However, even in the absence of Smiley who is headed to Belmont, the Vikings feature junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561090' first='KJ' last='Avery'] who scored 15 points in their opener along with a handful of other veteran pieces. As for East Chicago Central, senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297020' first='Dominique' last='Murphy Jr'] is one of the best uncommitted prospects in Indiana's Class of 2025. The 6'5" shot-maker is averaging 23.0 points and 8.5 rebounds as the Cardinals are off to a 2-0 start to the season. For fans up in The Region this is where you should head tonight.

Westfield @ Zionsville

We will get a chance to see Zionsville in action at Saturday as they face NorthWood in the Sneakers For Santa Shootout. In order to not enter the showcase event 0-3 they will need to protect their home floor against Westfield this evening. IU-Indianapolis [player_tooltip player_id='1525678' first='Maguire' last='Mitchell'] and fellow Division I prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1525679' first='Drew' last='Snively'] are the players to watch for the Eagles who have dropped competitive games to Class 4A Top 10 teams Carmel and Ben Davis so far. Meanwhile, Westfield is 2-0 and hasn't really been tested yet. Athletic senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2277790' first='Durante' last='Morton'] leads their balanced attack averaging 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. This will be a big Hoosier Crossroads Conference showdown.
