Tight handle and quality crossover has turned him into an off the dribble threat. Smooth and plays at his own pace as a scorer. Has flashed clutch genes throughout his high school career. Thompson has grown from a hard nosed defender and floor spacing threat into one of the more complete guards in Oklahoma. Strong frame, good athlete, still hooks up and defends with pride. Now has variety to his scoring, is very comfortable pulling up from three, complete with a good stepback game to get separation. Gets great elevation and smooth, repeatable release on those jumpers. Has an offer from Summit League's Omaha. With similar programs, Oral Roberts and Missouri State also interested.     Crafty lead guard, was a sharpshooter as an underclassman and then exploded as a complete scorer as a junior. Followed it up with an even more explosive barnstorming spring and summer on the grassroots circuit. Tight handle, is at his best when smoothly pulling up from three or mid-range. But has the handle, understanding of angles, and variety of finishing moves to still get off shots amongst the trees. Continual evolution as a creator has helped him impact winning even when shot isn't falling. Tough to bet against him as he moves to Union and creates one of the best backcourt duos in Oklahoma.     Physical slasher. Jumper has to be respected, which opens up his ability to either be too physical for smaller guards. Good first step to blow by bigger guards. Finishes with power and explosiveness in transition or when given a clear lane. Is put in good spots to score as an off the ball weapon, even capable on some post up options. Has been a good contributor for Norman North, could be on the cusp of being great if he can find another gear this senior season.
