The usually impressive scoring Green was held a bit in check but he caught the eye for the toughness and versatility he showed on defense. Was the Timberwolf who stepped up in the second half and did a better job of containing Amous in the paint. While also still having the agility and tenacity to switch out onto guards. Scoring should come this year for Green, but the ready to battle mentality he showed in the second half will be crucial for the Timberwolves to make a playoff run.

Physical slasher. Jumper has to be respected, which opens up his ability to either be too physical for smaller guards. Good first step to blow by bigger guards. Finishes with power and explosiveness in transition or when given a clear lane. Is put in good spots to score as an off the ball weapon, even capable on some post up options. Has been a good contributor for Norman North, could be on the cusp of being great if he can find another gear this senior season.

The Timberwolf power guard lived in the paint on Monday, as seemingly every time glancing at his game he was either exploding in transition for rim rattling slam. Or getting into the paint and finishing with a mix of power and finesse. Green has the athletic traits to elevate his game even further as a scorer this next winter and become a priority target for regional JuCos and other small school programs. The JuCo path could be a key to unlocking an even higher ceiling that would appeal to four year programs.
