Hoben was really good as a secondary piece to GVC star [player_tooltip player_id='1381402' first='Emiliano' last='Barrantes'] last season, averaging 15.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game. He's a long, bouncy wing who can step out and stretch the floor with his jumper while also providing some versatility on the defensive end with his length and athleticism.

Scharnberg transferred to GVC from Des Moines Christian and was good for the Thunder down the stretch, averaging 11.0 points and 2.8 assists on 45% 3-point shooting in a handful of games with the Thunder. With him being implemented into the system for a full offseason now, expect to see him shine as a playmaker, scorer, and defender.

The next two on this list are both junior guards from Unity Christian, a pair that really stood out at the state tournament in March. Bosma led the team in scoring (14.0), assists (2.8), and steals (2.3), and is a terror on the offensive end with his ability to constantly attack and get to the rim off the dribble. He's a physical guard who embraces contact and finishes well at the bucket.

Hoffman had a breakout sophomore year for the Cougars, emerging as a big-time secondary scorer alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2617509' first='Jackson' last='Lieurance']. He knocked down nearly 44% of his 3-point attempts and showed the ability to shoot it at a high clip off both the dribble and the catch. He does a nice job attacking hard closeouts and getting into the teeth of the defense, where he showed good vision and playmaking, dishing out 3.1 assists a game to go with over 14 points.

Chance didn't put up huge numbers as a freshman - 9.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game - but he was one of the most impressive players in the state throughout the grassroots season. He's a long, athletic wing who can play with or without the ball in his hands. He finishes above the rim, is a versatile defender, and is working to become more consistent as a shooting threat.
