He averaged 14.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting nearly 44% from 3-point range as a sophomore.

Hoffman had a breakout sophomore year for the Cougars, emerging as a big-time secondary scorer alongside Jackson Lieurance. He knocked down nearly 44% of his 3-point attempts and showed the ability to shoot it at a high clip off both the dribble and the catch. He does a nice job attacking hard closeouts and getting into the teeth of the defense, where he showed good vision and playmaking, dishing out 3.1 assists a game to go with over 14 points.
